Welcome to our peak owners newsletter, where you’ll find all the latest park and team news, owner updates, events, competitions and the best local places to visit as voted by you.
I hope you have had a chance to visit your holiday home and enjoy a well-deserved break here with us. I am pleased to say our Owner Events so far have been a success, so if you haven’t booked one already, please do come along to one, it’s a great chance to meet the neighbours and also the team too. Details for all events throughout the season are inside this newsletter, alongside a Spotlight on Kerry, our new Owner Experience Manager. We had a good response to our Owner Survey we sent out to all owners via email and uploaded to Third Place Social. What’s happening at
If you would like to discuss anything we have set up some ‘Coffee & Chats’ with Kerry. These are every Sunday by appointment only, between 11am & 1pm. This is a perfect chance to ask us any questions or let us know of any concerns, all details are inside of how to book. Now COVID-19 restrictions are eased, we still all have a responsibility to look after ourselves and stay safe from the virus. We hope the lifted restrictions will make your stays the best they can be. Please remember, if you get a positive test for COVID-19 you should not travel here, you are still required to isolate. 2021’s holidays bookings are still very strong, so if you would like to take advantage of our hassle-free sublet scheme, please send us in your letting dates as soon as possible for the attention of Rachel Palmer Guest Services Manager. This is a great way to offset some of your holiday home running costs. Lastly, a gentle reminder your electric invoices will be sent in November as usual. These will be for the full year as they were not read in April. If you have any questions please contact one of the team in Owner Services. Exciting news for our Away Resorts family, we have a new park. Beachcomber Holiday Park We are thrilled to announce our new park acquisition of Beachcomber Holiday Park in Cleethorpes Lincolnshire, officially becoming part of the Away Resorts family joining our 8 other UK parks. Here at Away Resorts we’re famous for creating unforgettable holiday memories and time away with those ‘discover different’ moments. Beachcomber Holiday Park is a great choice for us, fit for all the family and set beside the sea in the popular coastal resort of Cleethorpes. Spotlight on Kerry Hello everyone! My name is Kerry and I have joined Whitecliff Bay as the first ever Owners Experience Manager here. I first fell in love with UK Holiday Parks as a child, mesmerised by the entertainers on stage. Fast forward a few years, I got to live out my dream and became an entertainer myself! Now 14years on, I have worked in various different roles within the industry from Retail to Reception, to Holiday Home Sales and then finally landing here at Whitecliff Bay in June.
I have always believed that owners are the heart of a Holiday Park and deserve to be treated as such, so when this incredible job opportunity came up I jumped at the chance. My job as the Owners Experience Manager will be to do what I can to ensure you are able to enjoy your ownership experience (obviously within reason), be it from home or whilst you are on park. I am really looking forward to speaking with and meeting all of you over the coming months and I am planning on arranging some meet and greets every week to do just that. ‘You Said, We Did’ will be a feature in all future owner newsletters to keep you updated with what we are working on to improve your owner experience here.
Owner Survey As a result from our owners survey we sent out in May via email and on Third Place Social to all of our owners, Kerry our new Owner Experience Manager met with the other parks teams at Boston West Country Park to run through the survey feedback, and have a meeting to discuss ways to enhance the ownership experience across all parks including collating ideas on future owner events. The two-day meeting was very productive, and we have many ideas Kerry has come away with that the team here at Whitecliff Bay will be implementing & demonstrating over the coming season which is really exciting. We had a good response from the Owner Survey but we would still love to hear from a lot more owners about their experience, and if they have any feedback, ideas or questions please email us on ownerfeedback@awayresorts.co.uk
Owner Experience Manager We wanted to give owners a manager dedicated to your ownership journey and experience, so we are delighted to have done that with Kerry your Owner Experience Manager. Kerry has set up ‘Coffee and Chat’ meet and greet sessions for owners every Sunday by appointment only, between 11am & 1pm. This is your chance to catch up over a cuppa and biscuit on us with Kerry about anything relating to your holiday home ownership experience.
