Library News Beginning in 5784, the Temple Emunah Library is introducing a new schedule. On Shabbat, the Library opens at 10 AM. You are welcome to sit in this quiet place and read, browse, meditate, or play quietly. As in the past, to avoid writing, use the envelopes on the desk to check out books. All families have an envelope with their name on it. Put the book checkout card in the envelope and leave it on the desk as indicated. Please remember that you can’t use cell phones in the synagogue, including in the library, on Shabbat. The Library is also open on Sunday mornings, and during the hours that the Religious School meets. At other times, someone in the office can let you in if it is locked. Composting at Temple Emunah In case you are new at composting at Emunah, here are a few tips on how it is done: Compost containers are green - Tall Slim Jims and smaller toters All leftover food - goes into compost All liquids -- pour into round container on cart All cups - kiddush, hot and cold - go into compost All disposable plates, bowls and cutlery, napkins - go into compost NOT FOR COMPOST -Place in tall grey Slim Jims Wrappers for - chips, cookies, popsicles, candy, cheese Small plastic containers for - hummus, applesauce etc. Please help us by not contaminating our compost with unacceptable items. We and our earth thank you!
