As “margens do rio Caima” que banham parte significativa da freguesia são o local ideal para um passeio, ou um fim-de-semana, em perfeita sintonia com a realidade rural. O percurso entre a antiga fábrica de papel do Caima e o açude do Areínho, pleno de cor e de vegetação, não deixa ninguém indiferente. São cerca de três quilómetros de caminho pedonal junto ao rio que cortam a respiração e nos fazem perder a noção do tempo. Este é um recanto de lazer que permite fruir encantos naturais e retemperar forças, bem distante do barulho da cidade. The banks of the Caima River cross most of the borough, and are the perfec place for a stroll, or to spend a weekend in perfect harmony with the rurality of the place. The path between the former paper factory and the Areínho dam is a mixture of colour leaving no one indifferent to its beauty. The path consists of three kilometres of a walking breathtaking path by the river. This is a relaxing spot far from the hustle and bustle of the town enabling us to benefit from its natural beauty and regain strength. Contrary to what is required by the eco-hotel, set up by the riverbanks and inspired in the natural elements (earth, air, water and fire), it is not necessary to make a reservation to enjoy an amazing bucolic atmosphere.
