Landmark Builders has completed two phases and is now underway on Phase III of the new independent living community, Creekside Homes, at Givens Estates located in the mountains of Asheville, NC. Each 48,000 square foot project includes 24 residences in two separate buildings. Each building is 3 stories and features ground level parking. Arbor Acres Asbury Assisted Living Building Addition This 3-story, 116,000 square foot addition to the 32-year old existing assisted living facility provides 60 one and two bedroom apartments. 3-story Assisted Living Residency contains 60 one and two bedroom apartments
This assisted living facility also features a physical therapy suite, a new main kitchen and dining areas, a library, sitting rooms, a spa and a beauty salon.

This project involves the complete interior and exterior renovation of an existing 3-story independent living complex on the Arbor Acres campus. A bright open sun room provides extra gathering space for tenants.
Constructed in Boone, NC, this 33,063 square foot single story facility serves as an 85 bed assisted living center. The building is constructed with load bearing light gauge steel studs, brick, vinyl and stone veneer exterior and shingled roof. Amenities include a commercial kitchen and state-of-the-art paging and nurse call system. The building is fully sprinklered.

This Mocksville assisted living facility served as the pioneer to four succeeding projects in Cherryville, Goldsboro, Hamlet and Rocky Mount, NC. St. Peter’s Heritage Place Independent Living Apartments Located in close proximity to St. Peter’s World Outreach in Winston-Salem, this HUD funded 32,446 square foot facility provides 42 independent living apartments. Site improvements included road widening, grading and utilities.

Homeplace at Tyro School Historic Stabilization & Renovation This extensive renovation consisted of exterior and interior restoration of the 17,000 square foot old Tyro School building. The building was constructed in 1929 and used as a school until the mid-1990’s. Due to extension deterioration, the building was scheduled for demolition. Funded by a grant from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Landmark’s vision for restoration incorporated maintaining its character while converting the building from a school to 15 apartments for the elderly.

Mooresville Manor Independent Living Apartments Located in Mooresville, NC, this 32,703 square foot, 2 story HUD facility provides 32, 1 bedroom independent living units.

Transitional Living Facility
Veterans Helping Veterans Heal
This 8,440 square foot project involved the complete demolition and renovation of the old VFW building into a transitional living facility for veterans. The facility includes 11 units with a total of 30 beds, a common area kitchen, dining area, and laundry room. Grants were provided by BB&T, US Department of Veterans Affairs, Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, Ten Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness/United Way of Forsyth County, and Winston-Salem Foundation .
