ave you ever dreamed of flying through the lush forest? How about visions of driving or riding through the forest in a UTV (aka side by side)? Well you can do both at Canopy Ridge Farm! Wait…What? Hold the phone there sonny! Did you say “Farm?!” What are you growing here partner? Well, we are so glad you asked city slicker. We grow fun! At Canopy Ridge Farm Outdoor Adventure Park we do get a little silly at times, but we always take your enjoyment and well-being seriously. Whether you are ziplining or driving or riding in one of our Kawasaki UTVs we always aim to please and bring you back down off the farm. Canopy Ridge Farm is a family-owned adventure park located in beautiful Lake Lure, NC nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge. The park covers 60 acres of hardwood forest and has been in business for 11 years. We are consistently rated very highly in TripAdvisor reviews (#1 rated outdoor activity in Lake Lure, in fact!) and recently (2020) were named one of USAToday’s top 10 Aerial Adventure Parks! (Please hold the applause…actually don’t! Thank you, thank you! We’re pretty excited about it!) The park started as ziplines only, but in the last two years we have branched out (get it, get it? don’t you love a good pun? We sure do!) and added UTV tours where you can drive one of our Kawasaki side by sides (Teryx, TeryxKRX, or Mule) on a guided tour through some rugged, grizzled, bumpy, (sometimes muddy - depending on the weather of course) terrain. Now to the nuts and bolts (or fruits and veggies, in our case): Zipline Adventure Tour – Our zipline course includes 6 different ziplines, ranging from 500 to 1,000 feet long and reaching heights up to 100’. No hand brakes or ladders to climb. Your two tour guides do all the work, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride. Accommodating children as young as 2, we provide a care-free yet exhilarating experience for thrill seekers and first time adventurers alike. Woowee! UTV Adventure Tour – What is a UTV? It is a side-by-side / utility task vehicle / recreational offroad vehicle. Our guided tour offers guests the opportunity to drive a UTV through a rugged, off-road course in our 60 acre forest. Drivers must maneuver around trees, up and down hills, and over roots, logs, rocks, etc. We hope you enjoy bumps! You’ll get the opportunity to take a photo or two from our view stop.
