Danielle Kitching I gained my Level 3 CACHE Diploma locally with Bishop Auckland College and returned here to take on the challenge of a Foundation Degree. I wanted to update and develop my professional skills and this programme is proving a good vehicle for making this happen. Already there is a positive difference in how I approach my job role and, though initially the level and concepts seemed daunting, I’m now feeling more confident, better informed and capable. I’m really enjoying what is also ‘me time’ – a chance to develop as a person as well as developing higher level skills

HIGHER EDUCATION GUIDE 2013 STEP UP TO A BRIGHTER FUTURE
Amanda Dye “It was natural for me to enrol on the BA (Hons) Education & Training as the previous two years I’d studied a Cert PCET at the College and enjoyed it immensely. It was 1986 when I first came to the College and throughout the years it has helped me further my career and get me to where I am now. The programme I’m studying now has improved my managerial skills. I recently completed an action research project in my workplace, which has had a positive impact on the service I deliver – not to mention how proud I was when I got my grades back for doing it! I do feel like I’m improving professionally and personally all of the time and I’m really enjoying the challenge.”
