‘Engage yourselves, let your voice be heard’, Cayetano asks the students

to move on from being plain observers of what’s happening in Congress. He said that the best thing that the students can do is to make the legislators feel the pleasure of the public. |

BATANGAS City - “Engage yourselves and let your voice be heard. Give us more pressure and let your clamor and ideas reach the halls of Congress.” Thus, Senate Blue Ribbon Committee chairman Allan Peter Cayetano challenged the students of the Batangas State University in a dialogue Friday, Feb. 4 “Your voice is important to us and your legislators must also hear them so that they may be part and be the basis of every legislation that the Congress passes. Cayetano was in Batangas City last Friday for the forum on the recently inacted Republic Act 10648 otherwise known as Iskolar ng Bayan Act of which he is the author.
