COUNCIL WORKING WITH EATERIES DURING COVID Cafes, restaurants and food retail businesses have certainly been through a lot of change throughout COVID-19. It is vital that these businesses stay up to date with changing Public Health Orders to keep their customers and staff safe.
Council’s Environmental Health Team has maintained contact with local food outlets throughout the pandemic to ensure that appropriate procedures are in place. Ongoing assistance is also being provided to ensure that all food outlets are implementing a COVID-19 Business Safety Plan, a requirement under Public Health Orders. Any food related concerns can be reported to Council’s Environmental Health Officer at pehd@ ballina.nsw.gov.au or call 1300 864 444.
