LSPU-SCC acquires 13.9% Enrolment Hike By | Banjo Ventolero

With a total of 13.9% increase from the previous Academic Year, the Laguna State Polytechnic University – Santa Cruz Main Campus (LSPU-SCC) sets record high 10,058 total enrolees, the Office of the Registrar releasing the official tally of the number of enrolees for this current semester. Aiming to inform and to prepare all the students and professors on an unexpected magnitude 7.2 quake in West Valley Fault, Supreme Student Council (SCC) of Laguna State Polytechnic University-Santa Cruz Campus (LSPU-SCC) underwent an earthquake drill held at LSPU-SCC open field, July 16. In order for this event to be a successful one, student leaders, class presidents and other officers from different colleges attended in a meeting about the flow of the drill and inform the rest of their classmates about it. LSPU-SCC Shelters New Buildings By | Zynell Mangilin

Aiming to provide students a more convenient facilities for a higher quality of education, 3 new buildings were approved and being constructed at Laguna State Polytechnic University – Santa Cruz Campus (LSPU-SCC) for this semester. College of Hospitality Management and Tourism (CHMT) students, especially first year HRM students, now enjoyed the new CHMT laboratory this academic year. Built last year, this lab is well equipped with heavy duty apparatus like oven, deep fryer, salamander, hot and cold kitchen for main courses and appetizers, grill with volcanic rocks, flambé, and working tables.
