ALBALAD consists of four four districts: Harat Alsham, Harat Almathlom, Harat Albahar and Harat Alyameen.
The four districts formed two main axises are connected to each other, the first axis is Abu Inabah runs north (Bab Jadid) to the south (Bab Shareef). The other axis is Qabel street from the west (Sea) to the east (Bab Makkah).
Abu Inabah is not the only historic place in Albalad but we have choose it because the most historical building located on the axis (26 from 50 historical buildings), Also spaces and many things we can development it.
there are many historical spaces on axis like Alhnboli and Brahp Zakir spaces also Nassef space, and there are other spaces along the axis.

Focusing in on Beijing›s prominent and currently vacant Xianyukou Hutong, the practice has set out to define its future and envision «the next hutong» - one that is -monumental, dense, green, mixed and individualand can be built in phases.
The Edge Courtyard
From the architects: The Xianyukou Hutong, located next to Beijing’s Tiananmen Square, is waiting for redevelopment. Its inhabitants have moved to other locations and it has been left almost entirely vacant. What to do with in this unusual situation? Because of the hutong’s prominence in central Beijing, it is a highly visible project, and the moment when a decision is made requires a huge amount of responsibility. What should it become? The realization of another high rise area? Again, scraping away another hutong?

3.0 CASE STUDY 3.1 THE MIX HUTONG
For centuries Hutongs have been the standard form of settlement for Chinese populations that moved from the countryside to the growing cities. The settlement combines the life values and organizational model of classic rural villages at high urban densities: three to four buildings around a courtyard housed bigger families together. Surrounded by walls, the Hutong guaranteed the classical intimacy of the family life within denser circumstances. It combined privacy with density and flexibility with organization. From its origins to today, hutongs evolved according to changing demands over time. The development of the Xianyukou hutong has been delayed in comparison to other surrounding areas, which creates an enormous potential for the area. Its proximity to Tiananmen Square makes it highly significant. It demands a cultural, even political viewpoint on its development, which bridges the future with the past. What could be the principles for the rehabilitation process of Xianyoukou Hutong? What direction should be taken? This development strategy can be implemented in a gradual manner. Step by step it can be realized, starting from a small courtyard, to plot-based interventions, gradually transforming and upgrading the area.

3.0 CASE STUDY
3.2 AL-MUIZZ STREET Brief:
Muizz Street in Cairo, Egypt is one of the oldest streets in Cairo, approximately one kilometer long. A United Nations study found it to have the greatest concentration of medieval architectural treasures in the Islamic world.
Problems:
1. Disintegration of the traditional urban and social structure in the heritage sites. 2. Lack of maintenance of buildings. 3. Degradation of the infrastructure. 4. Continual social change which drove the original occupants to leave their homes to be replaced by people whose social, economic and cultural values are different and inferior. 5. Lack of the necessary tourist facilities to conserve heritage sites.
Goal:
The project aims at restoring and developing Al-Moez Li-Deen Allah Al-Fatimi Street in view of the Islamic, military, religious, social, educational and architectural monuments it contains. It is a part of a comprehensive plan to restore Islamic monuments .
challenges:
1. Land use obstacles are overcome in accordance with law. 2. Importance of issuing legislations of land uses and allowing activities in the area. 3. Necessity to strategic plan to control the overcrowding of people colonies in the area. 4. Determinations of funds are little, since the Egyptian Government is mainly responsible for managing sources of money for restoration and preservation of operations. 5. Other problems are caused by: dealing with people in the area during development operations; unawareness of the importance of enhancement the area; uncontrolled tourist visits to Al-Moez Street and intrusion on historical buildings.

3.2 AL-MUIZZ STREET Criteria:
it is clear that there is a general agreement on achievement of criteria of preservation affiliated with archaeological and historical buildings. 1. Ameliorating function of heritage buildings of Al-Moez Street is in limited level and the restoration operations are funded from the Supreme Council of Antiquities in accordance with the law. 2. Coloring buildings to enhance the layout of heritage buildings of Al-Moez Street and to avoid the occurrence of visual pollution. 3. Zones of heritage buildings are matched up with their importance. 4. Privacy of residential areas is kept by increasing archaeological awareness among local people and refraining tourist facilities from taking place there. 5. The traditionally appealing economic activities are kept and the other activities are prohibited. 6. Efforts to avoid or mitigate pollution are concise to prohibiting movement of vehicles through Al-Moez Street and get the traditional mills away from the area. 7. Availability and quality of infrastructure elements existed by changing sewage, electricity, and water networks. 8. The five-star restaurants and extension of tourist facilities to increase the time of tourist tours in Al-Moez Street are the outstanding proposed feasibility studies of tourism development in the area.
Conclusion:
1. Issuing legislations and rules regarding reservation in Al-Moez area. 2. Setting quite urban master plans in the area. 3. Empowerment to state administrative agencies to achieve aims of development in historical areas of Al-Moez. 4. Provision of infrastructure and availability of basic facilities in the Al-Moez urban zone. 5. Conducting periodic programs of historical and architectural awareness for local people of Al-Moez. 6. Encourage investment in development heritage sites in the street.

Barahat Nasef the most important Baraha in Abu Inabah Axis. Gained importance from several causes like it is in intersection of the main axies in the historic district of Abu Inabah axis and Alalwai axis. Albaraha shows us the difference in social activity and crowds of people between the two axes as the part that is located on Alalwi axis is the crowds and most active because of the shops on it, as opposed to the part that is located on Abu Inabah axis is considered inactive because it is a residential axis in the first place, knowing that most of the existing buildings currently inactive. ﻣﺪﻓﻊ ﻧﺼﻴﻒ : ﻣﺪﻓﻊ ﻗﺪﻳﻢ ﻳﻌﻮد إﻟﻰ اﻟﺤﺮوب اﻟﻌﺜﻤﺎﻧﻴﻴﻦ ﺑﻴﻦ اﻟﻘﺪﻳﻤﺔ واﻟﺒﺮﺗﻐﺎﻟﻴﻴﻦ ،ﻳﻘﻊ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻨﺎﺻﻴﺔ اﻟﻐﺮﺑﻴﺔ ﻟﺸﺎرع اﻟﻌﻠﻮي اﻟﺬي ﻳﺮﺑﻂ ﺑﻴﻦ ﺳﻮق اﻟﻌﻠﻮي وﺷﺎرع ﻗﺎﺑﻞ ﻓﻲ ﻣﻨﻄﻘﺔ وﺳﻂ اﻟﺒﻠﺪ ،ﺗﻌﻮد ﻣﻠﻜﻴﺘﻪ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺴﺎﺑﻖ اﻟﻰ ﻋﺎﺋﻠﺔ ﻧﺼﻴﻒ اﻟﻤﻌﺮوﻓﺔ واﻟﺘﻲ ﻳﺸﻐﻞ ﻋﺪد ﻣﻦ أﺑﻨﺎﺋﻬﺎ ﻣﺮاﻛﺰ ﻋﺎﻟﻴﺔ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺪوﻟﺔ ،وأﻧﺸﺊ ﻗﺒﻞ ﻧﺤﻮ ١٥٠ﻋﺎﻣﺎ.

6 The lack of homogeneity
Seats may be provided in areas that are well used by pedestrians if there is sufficient room on the footway to prevent them causing an obstruction. The design, colour and materials must be co-ordinated to harmonise with other items of street furniture.

STREET FURNITURE Street name signs make a significant contribution to local charm and character. Local variations in design, materials and lettering add richness and variety to the street scene.
