It is with great pleasure that we have been
asked to manage the 33rd annual Tennessee Beef Agribition. We welcome each and every one of you and would like to thank the great breeders of Tennessee for opening their gates and letting us get to know them and screen their cattle for this sale. Since everything got put on hold in 2020, the TSA will be hosting the Eastern Regional in Cookeville at MTSU. There is an awesome selection of show heifers that will be very competitive at the event this summer.
As always, the sale cattle will show on
Friday at noon and there will be a short annual meeting to handle the necessary business of the association at 6:30pm in the East/West building. There will be no meal because of COVID restrictions at the time of printing the catalog. This year the sale will be broadcast live at LiveAuctions.tv at 10:00am, Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Thank you,

Calf at Side
Tennessee Beef Agribition
We always look forward to the Tn Agribition and excited to show off what we’re bringing to town. We believe in cow families and breeding them to last for the long haul. This 770P granddaughter is the epitome of that and frankly it would be a lot easier if they all turned out like S1E. This one will be a big contributor to any where she ends up whether being a top AI Cow or donor. Sisters are working in programs like Red River, Hilltop, Isons, and Sloup’s and have commanded $11,000, $7,500, and $5,500. S1E comes with a fancy heifer calf, born 10/10/20, sired by WLE Big Iron that will be a quick return, and could be fun to lead around herself.

When a mating comes together and gives you a heifer of this caliber, you just can’t help but get excited. WLSF Feelin Rosie is the trifecta. She combines a stylish phenotype, favorable numbers, and is dual registered. She has a purple banner pedigree with top and bottom side known for producing champions. Owning this female ensures a fun show season ahead as she will be eligible to show as a percentage Simmental or percentage Red Angus. Two high caliber shows, the Simmental Eastern Regionals and North American Jr Red Angus event are being held right here in middle Tennessee. This red female with a few splashes of white is sure to catch the eye of many leave them all ‘feelin rosie’. I Bred AI to Pays to Believe son on 11/23/20

This black baldy heifer will make an excellent show heifer for a junior, but will make an even better brood cow. Great disposition with an attractive look. Sired by Maximum Confidence, and out of the same cow family as Chris Ivie’s highselling open heifer at the 2020 Fall sale. This heifer is also a full sister to Jimmy Martin’s $17,000 bred heifer that sold in Martin’s Livestock Sale in Indiana. Add the fact that Goddess is bred to ST Genetics’ calving ease bull, OMFis Epic, this makes this sale lot very complete. I Bred AI to OMF Epic E27, ASA# on 1/9/21.

A super feminine heifer with great extension to her neck and spine with plenty of volume. Brood cow written all over her. Who says good numbered cattle don’t have eye appeal? She rings the bell I all categories. We chose to breed her to WS Proclamation to further enhance her EPD profile. This should be a very desirable and complimentary mating and, since he is no longer available to the public, quite marketable. I Bred AI to WS Proclamation E202, ASA#3254156 on 11/26/20. HLVW Profit Love 051 is a true October baby that we were reluctant to consign until after Greg Burden made a farm visit and saw her in person. Reluctant, in that it is very tough to wean an October baby in January, which is what it takes to have time to halter break and prepare one for a March sale. We realize that it is somewhat difficult to get these young calves, that are truly this young, to a point in their development to present them in a manner consistent with their quality. The catalog photo will be taken about a week after she comes off the cow. What you will see is a dark red baldy Profit x Ryan Right to Love heifer that has a great neck, soft middle, is super sound and very complete with a great profile. She has a tremendous show heifer pedigree and just imagine what she will look like by summer in your show barn. Keep in mind that the dam, our Ryan Right to Love donor, is a full sib to the sire of the Remedy bull that just sold pretty well in OKC. Despite her age, this is one of the best females we have ever sold and we look forward to the spring calf crop, as we should have several more full sibs.

HLVW Better Joy 020 is an outstanding LLSF Better Believe It daughter out of our JF Ebony’s Joy 1282 donor that has been a standout and pasture favorite since birth. When we saw Better Believe It at Denver as a lead bull in Jerry Lee’s Champion pen, we knew that he was a must-use bull for us, as there were so many things we liked about the bull. Better Joy 020 is a female that has a striking outline with a long, flexible spine that allows her to move with ease. At our show barn. she is an individual that we appreciate a great deal every day with her striking look and gentle nature, and she continues to get better with more time on feed as we do not creep feed calves, not desiring them to get too fat. We feel that she has a great deal of potential and welcome your evaluation.

In today’s world, there is not many opportunities that come along when you can say that you had the chance to purchase a natural calf by a National Champion Female because those are nearly always kept for the best families to show or put back in the rotation to have the next great one. Put your reading glasses on and study because the opportunity is now. When we obtained this heifer’s mother straight out of the heart of the C&C program in GA, we knew that exciting times were ahead. The cow family behind this calf is so predictable, yet reliable. This heifer’s mother claimed division honors at the North American as well as being named the 2019 Reserve Supreme Percentage Female at the Simmental Junior Nationals held in Louisville, KY. Lastly, the “Diddo” cow, which is the granddam of this heifer was campaigned by the McDaniel family and claimed many accolades in GA, but most notable for being crowned Percentage Simmental Champion Pair at the Simmental Junior Nationals. Need anymore proof that this one is bred to be a badass? This female that we are offering is one that we feel brings many attributes to the table. When you build them this skinny necked, sound and robust in the center body great things are bound to happen. Seller reserves the right to two successful flushes.

We were fortunate to be able to acquire a few embryos out of the breed matron, Onyx, a couple of years ago. Our purchase from Hillview Farms just keeps churning them out. This sister to last year’s consignment has a little bit more chrome but follows the same pattern, sharp fronted and fancy. Cooper decided to name her Oreo since she reminded him of his favorite cookies! Not only is she backed by some of the hottest sires in recent memory, High Voltage and Uprising, she is stacked with cow power. The Donna 8386 cow had a tremendous impact on the Sandeen operation in Iowa and the Sheza Star cow family is known nationwide both in and out of the showring. With genetics like this, you’ll be happy to include Oreo in your breeding program once she’s done collecting ribbons.

As I am thinking about what to write in this foot note, I am already regretting the decision to sell this female. This cow family is HOT and will be that way for a long time. Victoria B396E herself was the high selling open female at the Hudson Pines dispersal then went on to be Grand Champion at the 2018 Simmental Breeders Sweepstakes and was Champion Cow/Calf at the 2019 AJSA National Classic and the 2019 NAILE. Daughters by Profit sold for $25k and $20k in Hartman’s sale in December. We were thrilled to purchase an embryo package on B396E, and this heifer is exactly what we hoped for from the Copacetic mating. H480 has the “freak” look about her, this one is pretty deadly when viewed from the side. She is sleek through her front one-third, clean chested, and symmetrical from every angle. This one will be fun to show, and at the end of the day, she will be a fun one to manage in production, as well.

I believe that if you ask Simmental breeders across the country what bull has made a lasting impact on the breed itself, the Broker bull would definitely be one that is certainly mentioned. Throughout the past few years, we have retained Broker daughters in our program and they are certainly the front pasture kind, yet this one is no different. Here is one we are offering that brings a lot of potential to the ring, but after that’s over has many attributes to be successful in the field. This heifer’s mother was a standout for my daughter claiming 2nd Overall at the Simmental Regionals in Cookeville in 2016, as well as being crowned Precentage Simmental Champion at Dixie Nationals in 2017. Here is one that has all the pieces and has certainly exploded with just a short time on feed. Good at the ground with plenty of shape yet one that has a neat look from t e side with little to no chest. This on is built for the long haul!

This is a female you know has the potential to work both in and out of the ring. This relentless daughter is smooth made, elegant and classy. Her dam was a former high seller as a bred at Griswolds in 2016. A maternal sister was Reserve Champion Percentage Female in last year’s Tennessee Expo and sold well. Bright lights and big things are i this lady’s future.

Heifers of this quality don’t come every calf crop and that is said for many breeders across the nation! Big time show heifer and future donor in the making right here folks! This individual’s added rib shape and maternal functionality are second to none! That combined with a pedigree that could stand the trials of fire sounds like a good investment to me! Out of the $900,000 valued TL Bottomline and the extraordinary DAF Summer Z65 donor who has done so much for Ivie & Sons Simmentals and Diamond A Farms, this January heifer has a bright future! As well, H65 is a maternal sister to the popular SS Elianah E65 who commanded $24,000 for half interest! When quality genetics combine with quality look, you can’t miss it! She sells in her entirety and ready to breed to the bull of your choice!

It has been our goal to combine more of our Red Angus and Simmental programs and Spicy could be the greatest product yet. Spicy is a true result of hybrid vigor on the maternal end. Depth, length, smoothness, and great mobility will only add value in the show ring but longevity in the pasture as well. The other added bonus for Spicy is she is doubled registered in the Red Angus Association. This makes her eligible to be shown in the percentage heifer show at this years NAJRAE, that is to be held the third week in June right here in Lebanon, TN. Spicy can make her presence felt at two national shows this June and never leave the state of Tennessee.

Talk about Hybrid Vigor!! Harley sure brings the power! She combines unique physical performance in length and growth into a smooth and flexible skeleton. Her killer look from the side is just the added bonus with all the great qualities she brings to the table. Her genetic makeup is our major plan going forward, in which we blend more of our Red Angus genetics with our Simmental genetics. 3Aces Feel Good 2607 is a direct product of our 2 time NAJRAE Supreme champion female Princess 4041, “Molly”. 2607 him self took home numerous banners; 2018 Reserve Champion Bull NAILE, 2018 NAJRAE Bred and Owned Champion Bull. Harley is the main reason we used him so heavy this past breeding season and are expecting 2607 sired calves to have a major impact going forward. Harley’s dam is no doubt a rising star in our Simmental program, and its hard to beat those STF Royal Affair daughters.

Another really nice Uno Mas heifer. He has really worked great for us o our Angus cows. This little lady has a fantastic disposition and would be excellent for a young showman. Hallie thinks she is the best heifer we have ever raised and I would not argue with her on that point. Some junior will have a lot of fun with her this next show season. Whoever takes her home will need to practice their backdrop picture pose because she will sure take you there.

This heifer has been a standout since day one. We were so excited to match up the hot sire W/C Bankroll and Deer Valley’s popular Old Hickory, and we weren’t disappointed. With the mass and expansiveness that this heifer brings to the table, you won’t have any problem matching her up come breeding time. Ante Up brings so much to the table. Her soundness and pattern will make her a force in the showring and she has just enough white to set her apart. We are eager to bring her to Lebanon and let you evaluate her. We think she may be one of the best we’ve ever entered.

Black tie style with blue collar power! This PVF Blacklist 7077 son is big ribbed, big topped and big hipped with the style it takes to make females for the replacement pen or show ring. Out of a tremendous Pilgrim daughter we purchased from Hartman Cattle Company a few years back, this rugged May calf will work in all segments of the beef industry. He weighed 780 pounds at weaning and measured a 32 cm scrotal circumference at 9 months of age. He also qualifies for the TAEP cost share program as a terminal sire.

When you analyze Country Boy 70H the first thing that comes to mind is Herd Sire! He will impress you with his presence and stoutness in a Purebred package. Sired by one of the breed’s leading studs, MR CCF Clarified, who has transmitted his depth of flank, body capacity and overall mass to this Future Herdsire. He is soft made and sound on the move with good bone structure built in for longevity. His maternal grand dam, HPF City Girl Z070, is a past TN Agribition Champion that we purchased from the legendary Hudson Pines Farm. Along with his loaded pedigree, 70H has an EDP spread that insures he is not just your average clean up bull. This bull represents what our breeding program is designed to do. Come by the farm and/or look us up at the 2021 TN Agribition, we look forward to discussing this one’s future.

HLVW Legit was a pretty easy individual to name, as from birth it was rather apparent that he was the real deal. Born to an excellent first calf heifer sired by TKCC Classified out of our Ryan Right to Love donor, we have enjoyed watching him slowly hand feeding the primarily oat barley ration that we feed heifers, and even with that his growth has been exceptional. When Greg Burden made a farm visit, I noticed after the initial view of the very appealing profile view of the bull, his gaze was immediately fixed on Legit’s big, sound feet and great flexibility from the ground up. Additionally, he is indeed a power bull with a great profile and a no miss pedigree. We were considering developing his bull a bit longer, but Greg encouraged us to consign to this sale. We welcome your evaluation and appraisal!

After a successful show career in the state of Tennessee she was on a fast pace to be the cornerstone of our operation! This past year we decided to flush this cornerstone female to SO Remedy 7F! Originating from our farm and just being valued at over one million dollars, the champion bull at the 2021 Cattleman’s Congress seemed like a no brainer! Good reports are coming in from the early calf crops of the breed changing sire and we think this mating could be of the best! The flashy, big bellied, sound structured Remedy meets the powerful cow power in 203B! Not to mention, in the mating you combine 3 breed matriarchs all from the dispersed Hudson Pines operation: RP/MP Right to Love 015U, IC Cream Soda R56, and CLCC Victoria W02! Buy with confidence knowing that this mating could take your operation to the next level!

Don’t miss out on this awesome mating of Natalie and Relentless. Natalie is one of the most talked about purebred red baldies in the Simmental industry and this mating could very well produce a red baldy, which is super desirable right now. She is also big boned, big footed, and massive. She has quite the look!
