We are pleased to inform you that we already expect players from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Nigeria, Romania, Spain and UK. Because of numerous requests received from many Rotarians and especially to allow completion of the issuance of VISA for non-European friends, please be informed that the new deadline for submission of application form is July 16. Please note that the Pugnochiuso Resort has granted this extension as exception, given the importance of the event, and no further extensions will be granted. 19th Annual Rotary Tennis Tournament in Bali Raises funds for the Cleft Palate Program The 19th Annual Rotary Tennis Tournament raised once again funds for under privileged children in Bali. Our Rotary Tennis tournament established itself as Bali's biggest and most popular Amateur tennis tournament and confirmed this position with another record year. 235 entries were registered for the 2010 tournament. Since 1992 the Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua Charity Tennis Tournament has raised over Rp. 500.000.000,- for handicapped children throughout Bali to help them lead more productive lives. As every year we welcomed players from various countries who enjoy fantastic accommodation from particiapting hotels like the Westin Bali, the Nikko Bali and the Laguna Bali, who supporting this event with amazing deals on room rates. In the name of the tournament committee, I would like to thank all players and sponsors for their continuous and generous support, especially DUNL OP TEN NIS who provided tennis balls and some extra prizes for this years event. The tradition of Bali's most popular tennis tournament continues and we look
forward to welcome you here in Bali in 2011 for our 20th anniversary. CLEFT PALATE PROGRAM One of Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua's major emphasis is to provide free cleft palate and hare lip surgery to children in Bali. Since Rotary Year 2000-2001 Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua (RCBND) has provided 812 cleft palate and cranial facial operations to underpriviledged children and young adults on Bali and surrounding islands. DRUG ABUSE/ HIV AIDS Our Club, in cooperation with a local NonProfit Foundation has printed and distributed more than 1,000 colouring books to Elementary and Middle School children living in the the Nusa Dua area.
