CASA VICENS Casa Vicens was originally built for Manuel Vicens, the owner of a ceramic company, and later placed on the market as a family residence. However, the house is no longer a private residence but now open to the public. TORRE BELLESGUARD The intricate symbolism characterizing Gaudí’s work can be uncovered at each turn. Guided tours reveal its architectural secrets, legends and anecdotes. LAMP POSTS IN PLAÇA REIAL If you have passed through Plaça Reial while wandering through the Gothic Quarter, you may have noticed that two lamp posts stand out quite significantly. These were designed by Gaudí in 1879, very early on in his career.
