Join this exciting group of fun people who meet on the third Wednesday of each month. Meetings of this active organization include meeting, lunch and entertainment. New members may join at any time. Annual membership dues are $15.

Bunco is a game played with dice and a whole lot of luck! Enjoy a fun afternoon with refreshments and prizes.

Ages 50+

Join in the fun with Bingo and win some fun prizes. Please bring your own beverage. Social distancing will be practiced, and masks will be worn as recommended. Preregistration is required.

The Spanish Acquisition- Senior Spanish

Ages 18+

Have you always wanted to learn a foreign language, but never had the opportunity? Are you planning a vacation, work with Spanish speaking students or clients? In this relaxed, small-class environment you will learn Spanish conversation, grammar, and phonetics that you can immediately begin using. This class will be tailored to the needs of the students enrolled.

Houseplant Propagation

Learn how to take a small portion or cutting from a houseplant and watch it develop into the plants you see at the garden center. We Grow Dreams Greenhouse will provide stock plants for various philodendron, spider plant, and certain succulents to propagate and take home. Learn tips and tricks to help your plants become healthy and full.

Seed Starting Program

Join We Grow Dreams Greenhouse to start some vegetable seeds for Spring. Learn what is needed to get seeds started correctly for our climate. Various pepper, tomato, and vegetable seeds will be provided along with seed trays and dirt to start seeds in. Tips and tricks to keep your veggies on track to grow lots of produce!

Just join the Batavia Senior Citizens Club at the membership rate of $10 a year to begin receiving our active adult newsletter! Call the Civic Center at 630-879-5235 or Eastside Community Center at 630-406-5282 on Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and ask to join the Batavia Senior Citizens Club and pay the yearly dues.
