Newly Designed Turbo Fan
Class-Leading Efficiency 1 The newly developed three-dimensional blade shape stabilizes the air flow. The cassette indoor unit is equipped with a newly-developed turbo fan; the new design released low operation noise and high air flow. In addition, the DC fan motor is able to give complete control, this is almost twice as efficient as a conventional motor and enables comfortable and energy saving operation.

Space-saving design Space-Saving Outdoor Unit
Compact, Hide-Away Indoor Units
Improvement of the outdoor unit's fan has reduced the size of the unit to enable installation in a smaller space. Without sacrificing quietness, also higher efficiency is attained. More freedom in installation contributes to the easy piping and facilitates installation. It will lead to the reduction in installation cost.
The compact Hide-Away Type* indoor units (Low Static Pressure Models) were newly developed. These downsized units can be installed in apartments and other places where space is limited. The top-class of compactness in the industry has been attained: 1200 mm in width, 250 mm in height, (650 mm in depth), 26% smaller than the conventional. *4 HP-6 HP models

Weekly Timer
Weekly timer setting (each day of a week) is available to control the air conditioner. Max. 6 settings/day and 42 settings/week can be executed. The setting temperature can be also programmed for optimal comfort.

Economy Mode An approximate 20%* energy-saving operation is attained. The air conditioner judges the stable condition and moderately shifts the set temperature in 0.5-degree steps to control the energy-saving operation. (Max. 2 degrees)
Ventilation When the external device such as a ventilator is connected to the indoor unit, switch ON/OFF of the ventilator can be controlled by the wired remote control. Either link-ventilation or independent-ventilation is selectable.
SUPER alleru-buster filter uses three types of functional materials that make it possible to inactivate various harmful airborne elements including allergens, viruses, and bacteria. This filter is available as an option. <Inactivating targets> SUPER alleru-buster

Features of Heat-Exchange Element 1. Height of the element is approximately 20% reduced. As shown in the vertical profile of the heat-exchange element (figure at right), we used an counter-flow type of heat-exchange system that reduces the element height from 287mm to 230mm, compared with a cross-flow heat-exchange element of equivalent capacity. 2. Overall heat-exchange efficiency improved by approximately 6% We adopted an counter-flow type element that improved overall heat-exchange efficiency by about 6% and contributes significantly to reducing energy consumption. 3. Long service life of heat –exchange element. We used a nonwoven cloth filter with a high dust collection efficiency and redesigned the air flow passages to achieve a durable heat-exchange element that requires no periodic cleaning.

Former element requires periodic cleaning. Former New (cross-flow element) (counter-flow element) The counter-flow type element requires no periodic cleaning because it produces practically no increase in resistance.
With the cross-flow element, air moves in a straight line across the element; with the counter-flow element, air flows through the element for a longer time (longer distance), so the heat-exchange effect remains unchanged even if the element is made thinner.
