This is the probable cause affidavit for the arrest today of Veronica Armitage. The 54-year-old woman called police last night to report that she had been the victim of a strong-arm robbery outside of a gas station. Investigation revealed Armitage lied about the robbery. She was charged today with false report of a non existent crime. She was issued a notice to appear in court. It should be noted that numerous resources we used to investigate this false robbery.
