Here is the probable cause affidavit for today’s arrest of Elvic Herrera, 28, for solicitation of a child. Herrera was taken into custody at 1:30 p.m. at 2500 10th Avenue North, Apt. 205, Lake Worth, by the U.S. Marshal’s Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force. We thank them for their assistance.
This investigation stems from Herrera’s arrest on Aug. 28, 2020 for possession and distribution of child pornography in which it was learned that he solicited sex and child pornography from a 12-year-old child online.
“The Boynton Beach Police Department places the highest priority on investigations of individuals believed to be preying on the most vulnerable,” Chief Michael G. Gregory said. “I’m proud of the professional and thorough investigation that led to the arrest of this child sexual predator.”
