Here's probable cause affidavit for the Sept. 24, 2011 arrest of Jeff Louis-Jeune on the charges of attempted robbery with a weapon and wearing a mask while attempting to commit armed robbery.
Detectives with the Boynton Beach Police Department’s Major Case Squad were conducting surveillance Saturday morning at an Advance America on North Congress Avenue in reference to numerous armed robberies to employees of the cash advance store in Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Greenacres and West Palm Beach.
While conducting surveillance, detectives observed Louis-Jeune standing behind the building with a black T-shirt over his face. When Louis-Jeune reached for something wrapped in a black T-shirt near his feet, detectives identified themselves and took him into custody. They discovered a battery powered hand-held drill wrapped around the T-shirt to resemble a gun.
