Police arrest woman who asked officers to help her hire hit man to kill two men A 38-year-old woman is behind bars today after she asked two Boynton Beach Police Officers to help her find a hit man to kill her husband and a male acquaintance. When she met with the hit man on Thursday night, Annybelkis Terrero gave him a shotgun and ammunition as a down payment. She also agreed to pay him a total of $30,000 from her husband’s life insurance policy once he was dead. The hit man was an undercover Boynton Beach Police Officer. Terrero, of Boynton Beach, was arrested and charged with two counts of solicitation of murder and two counts of bribery. The investigation began several weeks ago when police responded to Terrero’s home on Southwest 8th Avenue due to neighbor complaints about drug activity and prostitution. Terrero met with officers assigned to the department’s Narcotics Investigation Unit and agreed to become a confidential informant. On Wednesday, officers went back to her home to have her sign official paperwork to become a confidential informant. She provided information about a drug dealer and agreed to show officers where she lives. While en route to the location, Terrero told officers that she hated her husband, and wanted him dead and claimed to have a plan in place. Officers immediately assumed an undercover role and implied that they knew someone who could help her get it done. It should be noted that both officers were wearing tactical vests that identified them as police officers with the Boynton Beach Police Department. Terrero then provided the two officers with stolen credit cards as a down payment and told them to use them quickly as they were “hot.” A meeting was set for around 7:45 p.m. Thursday in a shopping center parking lot at 501 S.E. 18th Ave. Terrero brought a fully-loaded Remington shotgun and ammunition to the meeting, and offered it to the hit man, an undercover police officer, as a down payment and sign of good faith. She then agreed to pay a total of $30,000, and said the money would come from her husband’s life insurance policy. This is all the information being released on this case due to it being an ongoing investigation. Terrero is in the Palm Beach County Jail.
