Police looking for witnesses to traffic crash Boynton Beach Police are looking for witnesses to a serious crash that occurred Sunday in the 300 block of North Congress Avenue. A motorcyclist was attempting to turn into a parking lot around 6:20 p.m., when a gray or silver sedan crossed in front of the vehicle, causing the driver to apply the brakes and enter into a rear skid. Michael Ippolito, 35, of Boca Raton, lost control of his vehicle, and was ejected into the southbound travel lanes. Ippolito was taken via trauma alert to Delray Medical Center, where he remains in serious but stable condition. Investigators are trying to identify the vehicle that crossed in front of the motorcycle’s path and locate the driver. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Traffic Homicide Investigator George Baldino at 561‐732‐8116. You can remain anonymous.
