TXDM advocates

In honor of our breed focus on America’s most popular dog, the Labrador Retriever, TXDM made a Bronze Leash level donation to The Dallas Fort Worth Labrador Retriever Rescue Club Inc. This donation will pay for a week of boarding or one round of puppy shots. The specific dog the TXDM team chose to sponsor was Lucky Girl, a 6.3 month old female who was available at the time of donation. According to the official website listing, Lucky Girl is “full of the fun and adventure of a young Labrador. She loves new things and has almost boundless energy with which to explore it all. Lucky Girl is as smart as she is cute and is quickly picking up on commands.”

This non-profit rescue organization is dedicated to alleviating the death and suffering of homeless, lost and stray purebred Labrador Retrievers in the Dallas Fort Worth area, according to its official website.

The 100 percent volunteer organization aims to reach its goal by rescuing and rehabilitating homeless Labradors, promoting responsible dog ownership through pet-related event participation as well as its own education program.
