INTRODUCTION This Experience Book was designed to offer a complementary perspective of the project "Building Political Efficacy through Digital Media Literacy" (2017-2-ES02KA105-009735). Specially regarding the youth exchange of the project celebrated in Salamanca (Spain) between 03-09th July, 2018.
!
In this regard, the document seeks to provide information regarding the following key aspects. First, to offer visual evidence of the activities developed in the framework of the youth exchange. For example, the results of the Erasmus+ Trivial, the visit to Europe Direct Salamanca or the community dialogue with Entreculturas Salamanca.
!
Second, to present the four short documentaries produced by the young protagonists. The objectives of these films was to know the opinions of the citizens of Salamanca regarding the European Union. The four short documentaries are: The EuroView, The EU Documentary, European Perception in Salamanca, and Your Opinion on the European Union.
!
Third, to give visibility to the media presence obtained by the project in local newspapers and partners. In this sense, the project was followed by Salamanca RTV Al DĂa, Entreculturas Salamanca and Revista de Castilla y LeĂłn.
Fourth, to make known the impact assessment of the youth exchange through the results of the before-after evaluation. The young protagonists scored, from 0 to 4, the same questionnaire before and after the exchange, in order to identify their evolution regarding the key topics of the project: media literacy, political efficacy, Erasmus+ and European citizenship.
!
Fifth, to share the some of the opinions of the participants (youngsters and youth leaders) regarding the Europe Union and the Erasmus+ programme, and, at the same time, the benefits of both. It is considered that this section is very important to be able to know the human beings who have made this project possible.
!
With all the above, we can only thank to all the youngsters that have been the soul and spirit of this project. As well as to the local partners who supported this project: St. Stanislaus Kostka School, Entreculturas Salamanca and Europe Direct Salamanca. Because without them, "Building Political Efficacy through Digital Media Literacy" would not be the same.
!
Yours sincerely,
