I would like to wish all of our members a very happy and blessed Easter holiday weekend I hope everyone had the opportunity to spend time with family and for those that are here with us this time of year, and will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the Easter festivities hosted at the Club! We are all looking forward to some of the warmer temperatures and
brighter days of April! The unofficial kick-off to the golf season,The Master’s, starts on April 10th this year. Personally, it is my favorite tournament of the year, filled with traditions of the game and the beautiful layout of Augusta National, brings enthusiasm for the season and to get out and play on our beautiful course!
New this year, which has been a request from many members with Electric Vehicles, the new EV Chargers are now operational at the Linx! There are six EV Charger spots now at the Linx Tavern This will provide you with the opportunity to charge your vehicle while enjoying your round of golf, lunch or dinner!

Diane and Ian Anderson currently reside in Port St. Lucie, FL, but are originally from New York and New Jersey. Diane attended SUNY Albany undergrad, earned her Master’s degree from SUNY Empire State and oversees advertising for a media company.
Ian graduated from Ramapo College and is the President of a publishing company specializing in healthcare. They have owned a home in Chatham for over 10 years and are looking forward to spending the summer and fall seasons here.
They are the proud parents of Connor, a software engineer residing in Seattle, WA, and Aidan, a digital content creator and marketer living in Los Angeles.

Welcome to another exciting season at Ocean Edge
Resort & Golf Club! As we step into 2025, we ’ re eager to build on last year ’ s progress and continue providing the best possible playing conditions.
Lessons from 2024: Managing Moisture Levels
One of the biggest takeaways from last season was the impact of moisture levels on turf health and playability.
We experienced long dry stretches followed by heavy rain events, making it difficult to maintain firm and consistent surfaces.
To improve moisture management this year, we will:
Use advanced moisture monitoring with handheld meters and in-ground sensors. Adjust irrigation strategies to be more precise and reduce overwatering Enhance drainage efforts in key areas to improve surface conditions
These adjustments will help create firmer playing surfaces and better overall turf health
New Equipment & Course Impact
Last year, we added new fairway mowers, approach mowers, and tee mowers, which immediately improved cut quality and playability This year, we’ll continue improving efficiency with a new blower, pull-behind spreader, and aerator. These additions will enhance debris management, fertilizer applications, and soil aeration, all contributing to healthier turf.

Spring is here! We already have longer days and warmer temperatures. The MSC pool and hot tub are getting prepared for the season. The Pilates
reformer demo day was a hit and we are already planning to do another one! Our April fitness class schedule is the biggest we ’ ve ever had this time of year with back-to-back classes starting April 1. Please remember to sign up online to ensure your spot!
Fitness Tip of the Month:
Did you know that April is the American Heart Associations “MOVE MORE MONTH”? This is a great time to try a new class or a new activity and studies have shown that group exercise is more motivating than exercising alone. So join us at the MSC group fitness or grab a friend or two and head out on the Cape Cod Rail Trail!

CHICKEN CUTLETS WITH CREAMY SPINACH & ROASTED
RED PEPPER SAUCE
Serve these saucy, ultra-quick chicken cutlets over your favorite pasta. This easy dinner recipe is sure to become a new weeknight favorite.
DIRECTIONS
INGREDIENTS
1 pound chicken cutlets
¼ teaspoon salt, divided
¼ teaspoon ground pepper, divided
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 cup chopped baby spinach
½ cup finely chopped red onion
⅓ cup roasted red peppers, thinly sliced
⅓ cup sun-dried tomato halves, thinly sliced
½ cup dry white wine
¾ cup sour cream
2.
1. Add spinach, onion, roasted red peppers and sun-dried tomatoes to the pan. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Increase heat to high and add wine. Cook, scraping up any browned bits, until the liquid is mostly evaporated, about 2 minutes Reduce heat to medium and stir in sour cream, any accumulated chicken juices and the remaining 1/8 teaspoon each salt and pepper; simmer, stirring, for 2 minutes Return the chicken to the pan and turn to coat Serve the chicken topped with the sauce
Sprinkle chicken with 1/8 teaspoon each salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook, turning once, until cooked through, 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
