Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade 24th Annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade. The parade kicks off every at 5:45 p.m. on Palm Canyon Drive and Ramon Road and every year brings in an estimated 100,000 spectators to view the magnificent marching bands and twinkling holiday floats adorned in thousand of magical colored lights. In additions, resident and visitors alike won’t want to miss the wildly popular Macy’s-style holiday balloons along
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Tree Lighting. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Mountain Station with the Jurupa Valley Chamber Singers singing a selection of holiday songs. When the tree is lit it can be seen throughout the Coachella Valley. Both the Valley Station and Mountain Station will be festively decorated.
