A NOTE FROM bcYlS 2016 QUEEN Howdy! As the 2016 bcYlS queen, it is my pleasure to announce that the 61st annual brazos county Youth livestock Show is upon us. On behalf of our exhibitors and the brazos county Youth livestock Association, I would like to invite you out to the show. This amazing week of activities will begin with the Queen’s Dance on Saturday, April 1st, followed by the start of livestock show exhibitions on April 5th at 10am, the judging of the market rabbits, and the premium auction on Saturday, April 8th. This incredible week of activities and exhibitions is one all exhibitors have been preparing and looking forward to for months. It is amazing to see the commitment, dedication, and excitement each exhibitor has as they step into the show ring, no matter the placing outcome, there is a high level of personal satisfaction for each one in knowing that all their hard work has paid off. I remember participating in my very first bcYlS Show and being inspired by those older exhibitors to begin my own journey of raising livestock, creating consumer science entries, and getting involved inag mechanics projects. Our county show is an event my family looks forward to every year, and as an exhibitor, one of my favorite. This show would not be possible without the support of our community members, and we would love to invite everyone out for a week of fun with family and friends! We would love to see you there! The level of dedication and commitment given by show volunteers and community sponsors to make the brazos county livestock Show a success is incomprehensible. The show volunteers start organizing before the show even begins, working in front of and behind the scenes during the show, and continue working days after the show is complete. The community sponsors give with openarms and unending generous support to both the participants and the show association. This charitable giving, by both volunteers and sponsors, is not only creating a successful show but definitely teaching and influencing each participant. Their contributions to this association give our exhibitors the passion and drive to strive for success and excellence in their projects. Thank you to bothour show volunteers and community sponsors in making our show an experience that will leave lasting memories. We are excited to see what the 61st annual brazos county Youth livestock Show has in store for us! Thank you for all your love and support, Katherine Fazzino | 2016 bcYlS Queen
