ABSTRACT
Methodology applied to salve guarding and storage of photographic m aterial presenting prac tic al solutions based on experienc es and researc h done at the National library. Exam ples and day to day operations are c om patible and c an be utilized for photographic m aterial, as well as other m aterial that need to be preserved from outside aggressions suc h as dust, light and tem perature changes. It shown, through illustrations and im ages the details of eac h storage proc ess and the raw m aterial and furniture to be used for preservation purposes. Manual to be used by every library and arc hive as orientation guide.
