15 Must-Haves for College

Senioritis Finally Kicking In... Well this is it; we have had our time to shine in the Ursuline Academy hallways, and now it is time for us to go. In the beginning of the year, the class had dreams and expectations of a great year. Common questions that are asked are, “Did you accomplish all of those expectations? Have you thought of future expectations that will help you in your college years?” Either way we are setting off for a new journey in life; it is both exciting yet scary, and we don’t know how we are supposed to feel most of the time. Seniors from the Ursuline Academy Class of 2012 thought of some ideas that they would like to accomplish in college. Best Wishes to the Class of 2012!

Love always, your

Bear Facts asked seniors, “If you were in the bathroom when the fire alarm went off, what would you do?” Colleen McGovern-I was in the bathroom, I'd probably panic and push all the underclasswomen out of the way and trample them if they didn't move, oh and I would make lots of noise too, because I would completely disregard all fire alarm procedure in my state of panic

Kate Evola-I have no idea what I would do and I hope that I will never be in that situation

Allison Griffero-I’d get the freak out of there!

Senior Obsessions Throughout UA Years Throughout the years at Ursuline, seniors have had many obsessions causing girls to go crazy. Many of the things girls loved were celebrities, big brand names and social media sites. There are things that the seniors still love and can’t stop being obsessed with such as getting soda or coffee from Quik Trip for their morning grogginess, reminiscing childhood shows and Vera Bradleys. Here is a list of what the seniors were obsessed with the most throughout high school.

Growing Old Together A Look at Senior Memories Everyone”s school is a good one, but it’s the people we share our time with that make the school amazing. These four years have flown by with the help of some amazing girls. Every single young woman who calls herself a member of the Ursuline Academy Class of 2012 is crazy, caring, wonderful, and talented. It is these girls that have made these years memorable. For many of these girls, the first time they met face to face with their classmates was at freshmen sports camp. After that, through the drama and stress, the class has held strong together. Some memorable times have happened during this last, tumultuous year, but as Kate Evola remembered, not everything happened this year: “One memory that I will never forget is the Vianney Mass and Mr. Smith shocking us with his freaking awesome opera.” For

Courtney Dierkes, her “...favorite memory is when we all came to homecoming together and walked in as a big group!” Every single girl has a different

fourth!). .It’s “... probably that giant kick line at sophomore dance. Sophomore year we had just begun to really knit together as a class, and the dance itself was superfun [sic], but looking up and down that giant kick line was what first made me think about how lucky I am to belong to this community,” remembered Alicen Moser. While Ms. Moser’s memory is touching, Brooklynn Messmer’s is a bit more humorous: “I think my favorite class memory would be when we all wore Khakis at Ursuline. That was hilarious, and when the school almost caught on fire.” For Madeline Davis, her favorite memory is simply, “being in senior hall

during any random point during the day with like....50 other girls” No matter what your favorite memory is, hold tight to it. You will never get back this feeling of sisterhood. While you hold tight to the past, don’t forget to look with joy to the future. Ann Slesinski Bear Facts Copy Editor
