Beatriz Maturana Cossio

PhD, MUrbDes, BArch. (The University of Melbourne) Beatriz is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, Institute of Housing, University of Chile and she is currently teaching and leading research in the areas of sustainable residential habitat and socially and environmentally sustainable urban development. She has practiced as an architect and urban designer and worked as an academic at RMIT University, Monash University and the University of Melbourne in Australia and is the founder and current vice president of Architects for Peace.org.
