AQUATICS
Stay Safe • Use designated ice surfaces - where the ice thickness is regularly tested for safe recreational use. • Many factors affect ice quality and thickness - air temperature, snow cover, water depth, size of water body, currents and distribution of weight on top of the ice. • Stay off river ice - avoid moving water and stay off water bodies with changing water levels (i.e. storm water retention ponds). • Never go onto ice alone - always go with a buddy. • Have an escape plan if you drive on ice - open windows, unlock doors, unfasten your seat belt and turn on your lights. • Bring an ice safety kit - floatation device, lighter, waterproof matches, pocketknife, compass, whistle, as well as ice picks, ice staff, and rope. A cellular phone could also help save your life. • Supervise children on or near ice - children should always be under adult supervision.
The Facts • • • • •
Clear blue ice is the strongest and safest. White opaque or ‘snow ice’ is half as strong as clear blue ice. Dull grey ice is rotting and unsafe. Ice is rarely uniform in thickness. Spring Ice is Rotten Ice. Stop using the ice once spring thaws begin. Recommended Minimum Ice Thickness for New Clear Hard Ice No ice is without some risk. Be sure to measure ice thickness in several locations.

A mix of cardio and strength that is appropriate for everyone; you can pick your pace! Lots of options for high or low impact and plenty of modifications for anyone who needs it!
EASY FLOW VINYASA YOGA
SPINCYCLE
Vinyasa yoga practice is a conscious flowing movement where each posture is linked with the breath. This class improves balance, flexibility, increasing stamina and endurance. Infused with the flow of the class will be some self-massage using massage balls and diagnostic posturing. This assists in relieving physical and emotional stress, encourages muscle relaxation, blood circulation, promotes deeper and better breathing, and delivers targeted muscle stimulation to stiff, tender and sore muscles.
Rev up your cardio and overall conditioning with a fun group cycling class. You will be challenged with a variety of drills utilizing rolling hills, sprints, climbs and much more!
GENTLE MIX IT UP Get into the groove with this class that is always changing, sometimes challenging the cardiovascular system and sometimes challenging the muscular system. Designed for older adults, but anyone is welcome!
HATHA FLOW YOGA Combining traditional hatha postures with fluid movement. Flowing through a variety of postures (asanas), while linking your breath with movement and meditation. Awakening the body’s muscles while building strength, flexibility and a deeper sense of awareness. This is a fun class that has modifications to suit all fitness levels!

YIN YANG YOGA A blend of two styles of yoga to promote strength and balance in the body. Yang (Hatha) yoga is an active practice that warms the body, thus creating endurance while strengthening and stretching your muscles. Yin Yoga is a passive practice with little active engagement of the muscles. Postures are held between 3-5 minutes. This allows the body to work deep into the connective tissues and ligaments, creating a calming effect in the nervous system.
YOGA Combining strength, power, flexibility and inner Zen, these yoga classes are perfect for students of all levels of experience!
TGIF This is a variety class! For participants of all levels, every week we will do something different! Combination of Bootcamp, Barre, Step, Spin, Yoga! Thank Goodness It's Friday! For all levels.
