Becky Scarborough EGRD3014 Independent Practice Final outcomes

Final illustrations in situ Here is a photograph of my final pieces in situ at the ‘No added sugar*’ exhibition. My plaque read: These illustrations symbolise the mass of animals that travel thousands of miles by air, land and sea. Different animal classes have specific collective nouns. The artist has chosen to concentrate on four. These illustrations use zebra print, fish scales, butterfly wings and bird feathers to represent each animal and illustrate each word.

Products to support final pieces - feather key ring I made eight of these feather key rings using ‘Shrinkles’. I drew the feathers onto the special paper and then put them in the oven, where they shrunk 7x their original size and thickened to plastic. I sold 6 in the shop at ‘No Added Sugar*’ and then made some more to put on my online shop and in ‘Miscellany’.

Feather plaque I also drew a feather onto a wooden plaque. This is also for sale on my online shop: www.beginswithb.bigcartel.com
