Search for this month’s featured roles by adding the name of the organisation into the keyword field on our on-line role search facility at cvsbeds.org.uk/volunteer Autism Bedfordshire – Job Club Mentor The job club provides a space where autistic adults of all ages and backgrounds come for support. A volunteer job club mentor will build strong oneto-one relationships with club members and work alongside an Employment Support Officer, supporting their mentee/s to look and apply for work and gain confidence with their job search. Skool’s Out Play Worker Skool’s out playschemes run by Bedford and District Cerebral Palsy Society (BDCPS) provide extraordinary activities for extraordinary young people and volunteers are needed to make this happen during the school holidays. If you would like to help out for four weeks at the start of the Summer holidays, BDCPS are recruiting now.

FACES Youth Work Volunteers You will have a chance to support young people to develop academic, social and practical skills in a friendly supportive setting. For someone who is passionate about working with children and young people in an inclusive, non-judgemental way. Relaxation Therapy Volunteer A great opportunity to give back to the community and to make a difference, helping a specific client group with caring responsibilities. You may offer massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, Indian head massage, reiki – or other therapies if there is demand. This could be on a regular basis or as and when depending your availability.

Kempston Indoor Bowling Group Helper You will join a dedicated and vibrant team who work together to provide a safe stimulating and creative environment where people with dementia and can find a means of expression, community, laughter and joy at this successful and thriving Kempston Indoor Bowling Group. Royal Air Forces Association Caseworker This charity which supports the RAF family is looking for caring people to join its team of trained volunteers. As a volunteer caseworker you will carry out welfare work - making a visit and listening to an individual to assess their needs and find out how the Association can provide help and support to them.
