FOREWORD

In September to October 2023, the Philippine Statistics Authority will conduct the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) The 2022 CAF is a nationwide undertaking geared towards the collection and compilation of basic information on the agriculture and fisheries sectors of the country and shall be used in national and local development planning.

This Codebook was prepared primarily to serve as a guide in carrying out properly the data processing activities It contains the codes for key indicators of 2022 CAF questionnaires including but not limited to types of temporary and permanent crops, aquafarm and fishing machineries, equipment, facilities, and other tools, fishing gears, and usual marine and aquatic species caught.
