UNRESTRICTEDENDOWEDFUND
ThisfundprovidesSanford’sleadershipwiththegreatestflexibilitytosupporttheschool’sneedsbecausetheincomeit generateseachyearisusedwhereitismostneeded,whetherthatbefacultysalaries,financialaid/scholarships,or developingacutting-edgeprogram. CreateyourlegacyatSanfordwithagifttotheendowment. Weinvitegiftsofany sizetogrowthe UnrestrictedEndowedFund, orcreatea namedendowedfund witha minimumgiftof$50K.
FACULTYSUPPORTENDOWEDFUNDS
One of our greatest assets is our exceptional staff. In FY24, 76% of the annual budget was allocated to faculty & staff expenses. We invite gifts of all sizes to the Faculty Salaries Endowed Fund to off-set the school’s largest annual expense. With a gift of $1M create a named endowed fund in support of a specific leadership position, such as The Endowed Head of School, The Endowed Director of Athletics, or The Endowed Chair of History. With a gift of $50K, create a new named endowed faculty/staff award. Sanford supports the professional development of staff with summer study grants, opportunities to attend professional conferences, and partial reimbursement for graduate studies. We invite gifts of any size to the Faculty & Staff Professional Development Endowed Fund

Sanfordawardsaround$5Mperyearinfinancialaidandmeritscholarshipswhichdirectlycontributestoourabilityto maintainadiversestudentbody.Helpsupportthisannualexpensebystartinga newnamedendowedscholarshipfund witha minimumgiftof$500K.Agiftofthissizefundsonenamedscholarperyear.Agiftof $1.5M wouldfundfour scholarsperyear,onescholarperUpperSchoolclass.Classeswhoarecelebratingsignificantreunionyearsmaywantto focustheirgifteffortsonajointclassgift,suchasaClassof19**EndowedScholarshipFund.
