s Laura Lee (Connell) Morris ’72 and husband Jack are happy to announce the birth of their fi rst grandchild. Ephraim Morris Schinault was born August 27, 2020 to their daughter Julia and son-in-law, Matthew. Lisa Ross ’82 is retired and very proud to have worked 26 years for Freddie Mac, impacting so many lives in something as basic and vital as a place to call home. She currently lives in Lewes, Delaware with her wife Renee and their cat, Sal. s Kate (Mayo) Madigan ’96 lives in Wilmington, Delaware with her husband, two children, and two dogs. She has been teaching at Kennett Middle School in Landenberg, Pennsylvania since 2000 and will be pursuing a degree as a licensed mental health therapist starting in May 2022.

s Rebekah Lopata ’96 is currently teaching middle school science and math at Nishimachi International School in Tokyo, Japan. Before moving to Japan, she taught middle school science for ten years at the American International School of Chennai, India. She is learning to play the ukulele and continues to write and create art whenever she can! Rebekah is grateful to her Sanford years for nurturing her creativity and helping her prepare for a career in education.

s Sarina Pasricha ’00 was honored by the Delaware Business Times as a Delaware achiever and innovator under 40.

s Logan Herring ’00 was inducted into the Delaware Business Leaders Hall of Fame.

s In 2020, members of the Class of 2005 held a virtual event for their 15-year reunion. They had a great time catching up and hope to connect inperson for the next one! Photo includes Amanda (Rufo)

s Amanda Rufo ’05 and Steven Jumps were married on May 1, 2021, on a beautiful sunny day on the bay at Rehoboth Beach Country Club.

s Hillary King ’05 and Andrew Hinkson were married on April 10, 2021.

s Katie (Keeports) Trachtenberg ’06 recently moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, with her son and husband. She works as a freelance writer and plays rugby in her free time.

s Anna Filak ’06 got engaged on September 8th in Puerto Rico. Lauren Bond ’08 recently moved back to Delaware and took a position as a cardiac nurse at Nemours Alfred I DuPont Hospital for Children. Taylor Smith ’11 is graduating with her MBA in May and started a nonprofit last year for trafficking survivors. s Liz Perry ’09 married Grant Farmer on July 13, 2019 at the Hotel DuPont. She was grateful to have a number of Sanford alum present as well as current and past faculty there to celebrate. The couple now lives in Boise, Idaho with their three pups—Lilah, Remy, and Mira.

s Annie (Bruxelles) Triboletti ’11 gave birth to Anthony Paul on July 26, 2021.

Thomas Gluodenis ’17 recently started working as a performer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Ananya Singh ’18 will graduate from Mount Holyoke College with a major in psychology and double minor in economics and nonprofit management. Ava Pierson ’19 will graduate from Lynn University this spring with a degree in international business management. Nia Naylor ’20 made the Dean’s Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA during her first semester at Howard University. Lilly Bachtle ’20 is a freshman at Clemson University, where she is majoring in genetics. Lia Dougherty ’21 is the captain of her first-year flickerball team at Davidson University. Her team won the championship this year! Jordan Nashed ’21 is currently raising money for childhood cancer through Penn State THON. His fundraising efforts will culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon. s Peter Walpole ’11 lives in Brooklyn with his girlfriend Sarah and their dog Rosie. He is a Senior Manager in Digital at Golin, where he began as an intern in 2015.
