The proposed Ordinance provides for roof top and building integral solar energy systems as accessory uses in all zoning classifications. In addition, the proposed Ordinance provides for utility scale solar energy systems in the A-2 Rural Residential District. Specific performance standards including but not limited to type, size, and screening limit the potential impact of solar energy systems on adjacent property.
