NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING MODIFICATIONS TO TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 1-3 IN THE CITY OF BELLE PLAINE NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Belle Plaine, Minnesota (the “City”) will meet at or after 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014, in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 218 North Meridian Street in the City, to conduct a public hearing on modifications to the tax increment financing plan (the “TIF Plan”) for Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-3 (the “TIF District”) located within Redevelopment Project No. 1 (the “Redevelopment Project”) in the City. The TIF District is administered by the Belle Plaine Economic Development Authority (the “Authority”). The boundaries of the TIF District and the Redevelopment Project are shown in the map below. The purpose of the proposed modifications is to (i) amend the budget set forth in the TIF Plan; and (ii) provide for the acquisition of additional real property with tax increment. Details on the proposal are contained in the draft modification to the TIF Plan, a copy of which will be available for public inspection at the City Hall during regular business hours.
