These alumni are the core of possible members, but the chapter is open to anyone interested in supporting vocational education. Being an afďŹ liate of the national alumni association will allow the new local chapter to leverage its resources with a long list of educational and planning packets and the resources of a 50l.3.C non-proďŹ t status. The local chapter’s ďŹ rst goal is to develop a fund-raiser that will fund scholarships for students to the various leadership training events provided by Minnesota FFA.

He and Drew Hastings have really turned it on,â€? said Belle Plaine coach Steve Schroeder. “Ben Hunsader is coming around just at the right time. Mikkel Schmidt continues to improve, as does Hunter Schmidt. The boys are coming on just at the right time they beat Fairmont Tuesday after Fairmont had beaten us the week before. They could have a great end of the season.â€? St. James ďŹ nished with a cumulative time of 125:11. The Tigers were second at 128:10 and Fairmont third at 129:16. St. Peter (136:20) and Blue Earth Area (146:52) rounded out the ďŹ eld. Kyle Siemon and Drew Hastings had the two fastest times for Belle Plaine. Siemon ďŹ nished third overall in 17:03. Hastings was fourth in 17:10. Mikkel Schmidt (18:22) and Ben Hunsader (18:30) were Belle Plaine’s next two runners to cross the ďŹ nish line. Hunter Schmidt was 22nd overall. He ďŹ nished in 18:51. Colton Bahr was Belle Plaine’s next runner in. He ďŹ nished in 19:00. Noah Hastings ďŹ nished in 19:13 and Neil Bigaouette crossed the line in 19:33. Belle Plaine’s Tommy Sullivan ďŹ nished 34th with a time of 19:44. Noah Stiemke was in next with a time of 20:03.
