TERMS FOR THE SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND IN SCOTT COUNTY Terms of Public Auction: Sealed Bids Only Public Sale: Minimum Sale Price must be bid. These parcels are offered at public auction and will be sold to the highest bidder. The minimum bid acceptable is the basic sale price that is shown on the list of tax-forfeited land. The basic sale price is equal to the appraised value or the appraised value plus any extra charges for special assessments levied after forfeiture and for hazardous waste control. Commissioner Wolf moved, seconded by Commissioner Beard to adopt Resolution No. 2015-202; Proclaiming October 4-10, 2015 as Mental Illness Awareness Week in Scott County, A copy of the resolution is available in the office of the County Administrator and is made a part of this record by reference. The motion carried unanimously. B. Commissioner Wolf moved, seconded by Commissioner Beard to amend Resolution No. 2015-192 to include “Be it further resolved that the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community be required to pay each affected resident $1,250 as indicated in their correspondence within 30 days of adoption of this Resolution.” The motion carried unanimously. Due to lack of clarity in the Ordinance regarding the requirement for a written agreement for road name changes, Commissioner Wolf moved, seconded by Commissioner Beard to table the request to adopt Resolution No. 2015-192 Changing the Road Name of a Segment of County State Aid Highway 83 to Mystic Lake Drive in the Cities of Shakopee and Prior Lake for 30 minutes to allow the County Attorney to review the Ordinance. The motion carried unanimously. C. Commissioner Marschall moved, seconded by Commissioner Wolf to open the public hearing at 10:10 a.m. to receive comment on an Amendment to Resolution No. 2012-174 for an Economic Development Tax Abatement and Business Subsidy Agreement and Amending the Contract for Private Development, Including a Business Subsidy Agreement for Chart, Inc. The motion carried unanimously. Hearing no public comment, Commissioner Wolf moved, seconded by Commissioner Beard to close the public hearing at 10:16 a.m. Commissioner Beard moved, seconded by Commissioner Wagner to adopt Resolution No. 2015-194; Approving an Amendment to the Economic Development Property Tax Abatement and Contract for Private Development, Including a Business Subsidy Agreement for Chart, Inc.
