Highstream becomes first corporate partner for Project Learn Hive

Petty Pool is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Highstream Solutions, marking a significant milestone as our first official corporate partner for Project Learn Hive.

Highstream Solutions, a premier IT solutions company based in Chester, has established itself as a leader in the field of technology support and services.

Project Learn Hive is an ambitious initiative aimed at raising £11 million to establish a cutting-edge outdoor education centre and SEND centre of excellence in Cheshire. This project is designed to unfold in three phases, featuring a new residential outdoor centre that will enrich the lives of 6,000 school children annually, a vibrant community hub, and a modernised college campus catering to up to 160 young people with learning disabilities and difficulties.

The partnership between Highstream Solutions and Petty Pool marks a pivotal advancement in empowering young people through specialised educational and vocational programs. This collaboration is dedicated to meeting the urgent needs of young individuals, especially those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring they have access to essential resources and support, vital for promoting independence and preparing them for employment.

Highstream’s Managing Director, Paul Williams expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating,

“From Highstream’s perspective, we’re really keen to support this great charity.

After meeting CEO Sally Garratt at a Chamber of Commerce event, I was introduced to the incredible work they do to help young people in our area achieve their employment goals. We’re eager to contribute to the future plans for the college site, offering our knowledge, skills, and experience, along with some financial support in the coming months. We’re truly excited about this collaboration.”

Sally Garratt, CEO of Petty Pool, shared her excitement about the new partnership, stating,

“We are thrilled to welcome Highstream Solutions as our first corporate partner for Project Learn Hive. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to empowering young people through education for the workplace. We are excited about the potential of this partnership, which will allow us to leverage Highstream’s expertise while providing them with opportunities to make a meaningful impact. We were pleased to recently host over 25 chamber members to site at Petty Pool for networking, and look forward to many more relationships built through our links with the WCNW Chamber.”

WCNW Chamber of Commerce CEO, Sarah Bailey, added,

“It is amazing to see the collaboration between two members following the networking event we hosted at Petty Pool earlier this year. We always talk about the power of networking but it is examples like this that really highlight the value organisations can gain from engaging with their local business community.”
