Over 200 vendors will line the streets of Riverbank as we celebrate the Cheese and Wine Festival. A kids zone will be available as well as Real California Cheese vendors will be on hand to highlight the event! Wine tasting is also available. Wine Tasting tickets are $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the door! Admission is free to this event! Want to join in the fun of scaring your friends and family? Come and join us by building your own scare site for the Halloween Haunted Hayride. You must be able to be there BOTH nights

Cars, marching bands, floats, horses and walking groups can “light” up the parade route as we kick off the holiday season! A judging booth will be set up to judge you as you march by! Awards will be given out at the tree lighting ceremony at approximately 7:30 pm. Santa will arrive for photos and the tree lighting!

PARK & FACILITY DEVELOPMENT

UPDATE Silva Park Phase II

The City is currently working on plans for Phase II and construction should begin in early Spring 2014. Phase II includes a restroom building, a shade structure with a picnic area and 2 cement table tennis tables. Phase III will follow with a water park pending funding. If you would like to assist with fundraising for the water park, please call Sue Fitzpatrick at 863-7140.

The Friends of Jacob Myers Park and the City of Riverbank continue to work on implementing the Master Plan for this park. The Wedding Gazebo is complete! We are working on increased parking and an amphitheater. As grants and donations are received, we will move forward with these projects.

Riverbank Sports Complex

Phase II will include a picnic area, BMX Park (not track but a park similar to a skatepark), and a recreation area. Phase II will begin as soon as we can secure funding.

Riverbank Dog Park

The dog park task force has been formed and are working on this project. If you would like to assist with choosing and designing the park , please call 863-7150 for the next meeting date. Our goal is to make this happen this year!

RESERVATIONS The Recreation Department reserves the picnic shelters and sports fields at the following locations: Call the Recreation Office at 863-7150 for park availability and costs. Reservations can be made at 6707 Third Street.

Jacob Myers Park

Located off Santa Fe Road, over the bridge to the left, along the Stanislaus River. Amenities: large gazebo, playground, wedding gazebo, finger park (bring your own small toy cars), picnic area, open space, restrooms, bicycle/ pedestrian trail and group camp area. No jump houses are permitted at this park.

Community Center Park Located at 3600 Santa Fe St. This park offers a playground and gazebo. This park is near the Riverbank Community Pool. Jump Houses are allowed with a permit.

Castleberg Park This park is located at Eighth and Kentucky and offers a playground, large gazebo area, baseball/softball diamonds, basketball courts, restrooms, and pedestrian walkway around the park. Jump Houses are allowed with a permit.

Riverbank Sports Complex Located at 2119 Morrill Rd. The Sports Complex has a soccer field and a football/soccer field that can be reserved on a first come first serve basis. A concession stand is also available. These are lighted fields.

Plaza del rio Located across the street from City Hall, this is a perfect location for art, theater, and music! Come to the park and visit Downtown Riverbank! The City of Riverbank is very proud of all the new playgrounds and parks within the City. Please help us keep them clean and in good repair. We ask that you please report any vandalism or Graffiti at the parks to 869-7109.

Facility Use & Reservations Riverbank Community Center

Located at 3600 Santa Fe St. The Riverbank Community Center is available for rent for wedding receptions, birthday parties, anniversaries and more! Building capacity is 300. A kitchen is available.

Scout Hall

Located at 3017 High Street. The Scout Hall is perfect for small events. A small kitchen is available.

Riverbank Community Pool

Located on the corner of 7th and Stanislaus Street. During the summer the pool is available to rent for birthday parties, company parties, church parties and more! Cost includes lifeguards. Pool is only open for rent when it is not open to the public.

Riverbank teen center

Located at 3600A Santa Fe, this facility can be rented for youth groups, meetings or special functions during non-operational hours.
