Classical cuisine with a Saaremaa accent

Over the years, the Rose restaurant in Saaremaa’s popular Grand Rose SPA hotel, has earned the trust and approval of its guests, primarily for the dishes that are prepared with pure local ingredients, as well as for its friendly and attentive service. A historically romantic atmosphere reigns in this restaurant with its nooks and impressive arches. The menu offers international taste experiences with a local accent, by mainly using local ingredients. Novelty and unexpected flavours have been added by the recently hired head chef German Macharashvili. The restaurant’s drink menu includes a representative selection of Estonian craft beverages – beers, ciders and berry wines. The house liquors that Miika Õunaid, the restaurant’s sommelier, has created from local berries, and the cocktails he creates from them, have become very popular. However, the lemonade that he makes from spruce tree shoots has become the undisputed favourite.
