Since 1998, Inevitable Wealth Coaching, owned by Investor Coach Brendan Magee, has been helping families rediscover and reclaim their American Dream. Whether that dream gets expressed by a purpose like love or generosity or something more tangible like providing children with the best educational experiences, Brendan explained that once discovered, that purpose is something way more fulfilling than money could ever be.
mutual fund managers produced, but most importantly with the lack of answers the industry gave as to why returns were so inconsistent. “When I entered the industry, I was excited by the opportunity to offer people what I believed was superior investment expertise, but what scared me to death was the realization that the industry didn’t have any magic at all,” Brendan said. In fact, he discovered the industry purposely was misleading investors because it helped their bottom line.
Step one for Brendan is empowering families to discover their true purpose for life and money. After that, he helps families discover the science of investing and see the difference it makes in their quality of life. “As it was the case with me, I want people to experience freedom from the pain and struggles they experience with money and investing,” Brendan said. A major part of that transformation is people understanding how markets actually work. “I can speak firsthand about the fear, stress, worry and anxiety people experience when without any understanding about how markets work,” he explained. “You hand your life savings over to people you will never meet, have no idea of what they are really doing with your money and have no assurance that what they are doing actually works.”
That all changed for Brendan when he met the only four men to win the Nobel Prize for their research into investing (Drs. Harry Markowicz, Rex Sinquefield, Merton Miller and Myron Scholes from the University of Chicago). Shockingly, they helped Brendan understand that the world of investing works very differently from how Wall Street and Madison Ave lead investors to believe. With this “Aha!” moment, Brendan found his passion and life’s calling. He realized he could not stomach doing things the way the investment industry wanted, so he opened his own investor coaching practice, Inevitable Wealth Coaching. “I chose the name Inevitable Wealth Coaching because once people discover and learn how to follow the science of investing, they realize the results are inevitable,” Brendan said.
