Welcome to Beta Theta Pi’s 183rd General Convention in Atlanta, Georgia!

Every General Convention leaves its mark on Beta history. From landmark legislation to speeches now forever enshrined in our texts, some of the Fraternity’s most cherished moments occur around this great Beta tradition. When brothers across chapters and generations come together to rekindle their Beta Spirit, we chart the path forward for our Great and Good Fraternity. Perhaps not surprisingly as we host the 183rd in the heart of a such a historic southern city like Atlanta, new inspirations and important decisions become opportunities to reaffirm Beta’s Three Great Principles and core values.

As a fitting reminder, John Reily Knox, Miami 1839, gave a rousing address on the Fraternity’s first anniversary in 1840. Nearly two centuries later we rise together with renewed passion and commitment to ensure this Fraternity remains a beacon of brotherhood and personal growth for all who call it home.

This emphasis on togetherness rings especially true to me here at Beta’s 183rd. Following two years of disconnect and distance due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we reunite to celebrate and honor our eight founders and this special Fraternity we all know and love.

Sincerely and yours in ___kai___,
