Cornerstone Housing Summit

The General Convention is once again pleased to offer the Cornerstone Housing Summit, a special educational track designed specifically for house corporation volunteers. Hosted in the historic Gamma Eta Chapter house at Georgia Tech, workshops will focus on building brotherhood, chapter housing operations and keeping our homes safe. Sessions will feature success stories and best practices as presented by industry experts from College Fresh, CSL Management and PipeBurst Pro.

COLLEGE FRESH: IMPORTANCE OF A MEAL PLAN

There is no better way to start the morning than a homecooked breakfast that will be served on behalf of College Fresh. Their team will also have a short presentation on the benefits of a meal plan and trends they are seeing in meal service for today’s generation of college students.

CSL MANAGEMENT: HOUSING ASSESSMENT

Participants will have an opportunity to do an in-depth walk-through of the Gamma Eta Chapter house with Tim Stephenson of CSL Management. This is an opportunity for participants to learn what to look for on their facility’s regular walk-throughs, routine maintenance do’s and don’ts, and practical training for closing and opening the chapter house.

PIPEBURST PRO: WATER LEAK DETECTION & MITIGATION

Water loss is still the leading cause of loss among fraternity homes. The Cornerstone Insurance Program has a partnership with Pipeburst Pro to help reduce these claims in the future. Participants will learn tips and tricks, how to utilize the system, and more details on installing Pipeburst Pro in their chapter home.
