Join us every Monday morning on Zoom from 11 am - 12 noon for a dynamic discussion led by Shari Baum, LMSW, of Westchester Jewish Community Services (we will not meet on Monday, January 16 as it is MLK day).

Research has shown that physical activity is a driver for a healthy and long life Exercise that is planned, structured and repetitive will improve physical fitness, the quality of life and one’s overall well-being.The World Health Organization recommends both aerobic exercise and strength exercise, as well as balance training to reduce the risk of falls.

We are resuming exercise at Beth El on Thursdays to begin in January, no charge.

If you are interested in exploring art, we are offering two opportunities that you may enjoy: Westchester Community College Mainstream Program is offering a weekly Monday zoom class from 11am - 1pm. Susan Courtney will teach about famous artists: Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, Camille Claudel, Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keefe and others.

January 23, January 30, February 6 and February 13 from 11am - 1pm.

Beyond zoom, here at Beth El, you have the opportunity to explore the world of acrylic painting under the direction of Cindy Shechter. A renowned artist and educator, she is offering four painting sessions on Thursday mornings…and all you need to do is show up!
