Youth & Family Engagement Department – 2023 Update!

Hi everyone, As we begin 2023, it’s amazing to look back and reflect on everything the Youth & Family Engagement Department did in 2022! In addition to Religious School and regular Shabbat programming, we launched a new Shabbat service–Mini Minyan–for children in early elementary school. Additionally, we started our Potluck in the Park programming, when we enjoy eating Shabbat Kiddush lunch and hanging out in Roosevelt Park together, as well as our Shabbat Afternoon hangouts. We held several special events including a petting zoo at Beth El in honor of Parshat Noach, Hanukkah Pajamakkah, Havdalah & Donut Decorating, and our second annual Hanukkah Day of Chesed.

We welcomed 2023 spending time together at Youth and Family Shabbat on January 6th and 7th and we look forward to more fun events this year. We will enjoy a Kids Koncert with Bobby Doo Wah on Monday, January 18 (MLK Day), as well as ice skate together on Sunday,
