Active Activities iLEAP Showcase Last Thursday after school our incredibly lucky students were given the opportunity to try out a variety of “active activities” as part of the iLEAP Showcase. There was everything from skateboarding to canvas painting, archery to static kayaking. It looked so much f u n , e ve n t h e te a c h e r s wanted to have a go! A big thank you to Ms. Bloom for organising the organised fun!

Divide the cake into 8 equal pieces using just 3 straight slices with a knife. So, the answer... as the picture shows (right), simply cut the cake into 4 equal parts and then slice through the cake horizontally. Simple! Admittedly, not everyone gets the same amount of icing but that’s the right answer either way! Piece of cake!

This afternoon BGTC is proud to once again be hosting Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge. Tonight is the East London regional final of the debating competition and BGTC will be looking to repeat the successes of last year’s event. Staff baby photos competition Comic Relief made a record amount this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep fundraising. It costs just 50p to buy an answer sheet for the Staff Baby Photo competition.
