Since graduating from BT in 2013, I earned a degree in criminal justice and criminology from the University of Maryland and worked as a paralegal. I have also been a firefighter/EMT for 10 years, and currently work with the Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Company. Beth Tfiloh has always been a special place for me. I am excited to help keep our alumni, school parents, and grandparents connected to our BT community and each other, while also supporting our Annual Campaign and Spotlight fundraising efforts, among other Development tasks. What better time to come back to BT than during our Centennial Year! I am truly excited to be back at BT and I look forward to seeing many familiar faces along the way! Please feel free to reach out at 410-413-2350 or jsless@btfiloh.org.

MEET OUR SCHOOL GRANDPARENT AMBASSADOR CHAIRS Beth Sellman I am excited to co-chair our Grandparent Ambassador Group alongside Nurite Notarius-Rosin. As a grandparent of two BT students, ages 6 and 4, I feel an even stronger need for Jewish educational continuity more than ever before. Our connection to Beth Tfiloh School goes back many years – our three daughters attended BT and two are “lifers!” Soon
after our oldest, Allison, started in BT PreSchool in 1989, we became Beth Tfiloh Congregants. Beth Tfiloh continues to lay the foundation for a stellar, well-rounded secular and Jewish studies program that cannot be found elsewhere. I am proud to help support my grandchildren and yours — our future leaders — in receiving this priceless education and strengthening their strong Jewish identities, which is imperative in this day and age! Nurite Notarius-Rosin I’m delighted to co-chair this year’s Grandparent Ambassador Group with Beth Sellman. Our family’s connection to Jewish day school education in general and Beth Tfiloh in particular spans decades. So we are thrilled that among our 11 grandchildren who are of age, all attend Jewish day schools in their respective

communities. When our son and daughterin-law, Hinda and Jacob Rosin, chose Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School for their children, we were elated. The Jewish and secular education they are receiving is exemplary. Like you, we are beyond grateful to the talented teachers and professionals who give our grandchildren the tools to develop into proud, caring, knowledgeable Jews who will become our community’s future leaders. The partnership of educators, parents and grandparents is vital in fostering BT’s continued success. Whether you live in Baltimore or out of the area, I hope that you will take an active role in the Grandparents Ambassador Group. Together we can ensure that the BT community remains vibrant for years to come.
