HISTORY? JOIN US!

History wants to be known and gives lessons from the past. These days history enlightens our ways. My friends and I are aware of this. Therefore, we found History Club in our school and we planned various activities. We have already made some activities.

We conducted two conferences and we visited the most important museums of İstanbul.

A JOURNEY INTO THE EAST

FINDING WATER ON OTHER PLANETS

Eastern Express which has become famous recently can be example for this. The Eastern Express is an express train that completes 1310 kilometres in 25 hours.

The train made its first journey in 1956. It has been existent for 56 years. However, Eastern Express is the most popular travel route of domestic travel nowadays. It has been appealing vloggers, bloggers, photographers and students as train passangers. The train has been rediscovered.

Speaking at the International Astronautical Congress, Elon Musk said that the first goal of his SpaceX missions is to find water on other planets. He also spoke about colonising Mars. In 2022, two 106-metre-tall SpaceX rockets with construction materials will go to Mars, followed by two more cargo rockets in 2024.

In this kind of interview ,people like us should give tips to young people who have goals and lead them forth.It is so normal. However, I want to tell the truth not what you want to hear.We don’t live in such a world surrounded by people who are willing to support us. You can understand whether you really want somethıng or not when you are under the most difficult condition. Acting is not suitable for the ones who prefer to give up the struggle with difficulties.

Thereby, I can’t say that I was supported by anyone.

On the contrary,I met people who tried to restrain me from being successful. It was just my teacher having suggested that It would be great to deal wıth performing arts.

LOSEV:The Foundation for Children with Leukemia LOSEV is a Turkish non-governmental and a non-profit-making public help organisation which gives a hand to children with leukemia and their families. The main purpose of LOSEV is to provide long-running solutions for these children and their families.

YOUNG ART PERFORMERS On 19th April, as students of Beykoz University, we watched the theater play which is named “Prometheus in Chains.” The performers were mostly our friends who are the members of The Theater Club. We were amazed to see our young performers on the stage performing a perfect play. The rector of the university were there to encourage the students and he also celebrated and gave some gifts to the students who were on the stage.

HAVE YOU HEARD THE NAME “BITCOIN”?

It might be one of the most important turning point of human history but maybe not. It is called “Bitcoin” which is digital and virtual money. It is coded math-based. In other words, it’s crypto money and a payment system. The system removes intermediaries such as central banks. In the world of bitcoin, there is no central authority. At the same time, there is open source software which is open to every person. Additionally, crypto currencies use a kind of chain which is blockchain. In this system, money transfers are written in digital blocks. If you want to do transaction, first of all you have to get an account. When you log in the world of bitcoin, you must create an account. It will be your digital wallet.

Every wallet has two keys. One of them is special key and the other one is general key. Special key is personal. Also, it cannot be duplicated which is exactly like your signature. Furthermore, when someone wants to send you 1 bitcoin, he has to sign with his special key and then if the bitcoin network accepts the key, the transfer will be confirmed by the users. On the other hand, the system has a small flaw. When people all over the world try to transfer the money at the same time and when this process happens, it might be a confusion in the system. At that exact moment, bitcoin miners come in surface to prevent those problems.

In order to do this, they use lots of equipment. When they mine, they earn bitcoins and of course this has a certain limit. The limit is 21 million. According to the system they found 16 million bitcoins and because of this, most of the people think that it's really valuable.

PLANE INCIDENT IN TURKEY A plane from Turkey’s capital of Ankara touched down in Trabzon, a city in northern Turkey, but the plane did not safely land. It skidded off the runway and plummeted down a cliff heading straight towards the Black Sea. In a statement, the airline said that the plane experienced a runway excursion incident. People are investigating the cause of the excursion, but a bird strike or ice may have been responsible, according to Turkish media. The incident created panic amongst the 162 passengers and crew on board, but everybody 2 disembarked the plane uninjured.

HOUSE ON MARS National Geographic, Royal Observatory Greenwich astronomers, and Stephen Petranek, the author of “How We’ll Live on Mars”, created a model of what could once be a Martian house. People built it at the Royal Observatory Greenwich in London. The house is designed to be situated in Valles Marineris, a system of canyons that runs along the equator of Mars, and the house will make oxygen and supply its own water by sucking in the Martian atmosphere, which is about 100% humid on most nights. People on Mars will also have 3D printers, which will make almost everything that they would need, from wrenches to plates and toothbrushes.

This all may sound like science fiction, but according to Elon Musk, a million people could be living on Mars by the mid-2060s.

STEPHEN HAWKING VISIONARY PHYSICIST DIES AGED 76 World renowned physicist Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76. He died peacefully at his home in Cambridge. The British scientist was famed for his work with black holes and relativity, and wrote several popular science books including A Brief History of Time. Elon Musk started Tesla Inc. with a goal of accelerating the switch to electric cars by about a decade.

That wish is now becoming real. Starting with Jaguar’s I-Pace crossover and Audi’s Q6 e-tron, every major carmaker is designing stylish, sporty electric vehicles just like Models S, X and 3. Unlike Tesla, they have century of experience launching models every few months and can spread development costs across a broad portfolio.

“The vehicles I’ve seen are far superior to anything Tesla has,” Mike Jackson, chief executive officer of U.S. vehicle retailer AutoNation Inc., said on an earnings call Tuesday, referring to German carmakers’ electric cars. “They are in a massive shift from diesel investment into electrification in both pure electric and plugin hybrid.”

While the unprofitable California-based carmaker, reporting first-quarter earnings later Wednesday, has welcomed competition. Production issues for the less expensive Model 3 -- the key to bringing electric vehicles to the masses -- and the company’s spendings will be the main issues for Tesla’s believers and detractors to think on. The company burns through more than $6,500 every minute.

While Jaguar’s I-Pace SUV has been available for order since last month, Tesla’s hardest challenge will come from Germany. LEUKEMIA -What is Leukemia?

Leukemia develops when a defect in the bone marrow, where blood cells are produced, causes the body to make abnormal white blood cells. Eventually, the abnormal cells can begin to crowd out the normal ones and compromise immunity.

Leukemia can be either chronic or acute. Chronic leukemia develops slowly. At first, the abnormal white blood cells actually work like standard white blood cells, but the disease gradually worsens over time. With acute leukemia, however, the abnormal cells never work properly, and the disease progresses much more rapidly.

Causes and Symptoms of Leukemia Researchers aren’t exactly sure what causes leukemia, but some of the risk factors include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, X-rays, smoking, Down syndrome, some inherited diseases and some blood disorders. When you have leukemia, at first it may not exhibit any symptoms at all. Over time, however, you would begin to feel sick. This includes fatigue, weakness, fever, joint and bone pain, easy bleeding and bruising, unexplained weight loss, getting infections frequently and abdominal swelling.

Treatment Leukemia can be treated in a variety of ways. The treatment or combination of treatments that's best will vary quite a bit depending on the type of leukemia, the stage of the cancer as well as specific concerns for the person with the disease.

Therapies that have been successful in treating leukemia include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy and a stem cell transplant. For a very slow-developing leukemia, some patients have the option of “watchful waiting,” where treatment is held off in order to delay the side effects of cancer treatment, though this option carries with it certain risks of its own.

LOSEV Elementary School opened its doors in 2008 in Ankara, where children with leukemia maintain their education under the curriculum of the Turkish Ministry of Education. The House for Children with Leukemia provides accommodation for families who come to Ankara,the capital city,from other parts of Turkey to access treatment opportunities.

It is a discipline that shows ways of enhancing our spirit and life through training our body and mind. Today, it has become a global sport that has gained an international reputation and stands among the official games in the Olympics.

Special Interview with Nilgün Elif Dogan who brought Balkan third place to Turkey I made a joyous and special interview to me with Nilgün Elif Dogan who is our national taekwondo athlete about sport, taekwondo and her life.

1. Can you briefly introduce yourself?

I am Nilgün Elif Dogan, I am from Sivas. I have done taekwondo for 8 years. I am in national team for 1 year. I am studying Law at University, and our learning language is English. I will graduate in 2020; now, I am trying to get national athletic scholarship from my university. I have started to sport in little age but I was not very little. First, this situation has been with football, then I have continued with basketball, after I have fronted to taekwondo and I have been going on for many years though my parents did not want to.

2. What are your goals in your sports life?

I do not think I have reached my goals now. I focus on the goal ahead. When starting the targets, you must first go ahead to the target, i.e. 1,2,3, you will not talk directly to the 3rd goal. 3.

Of course, the goal is the target but the current target Turkey Championship in front of me, then go to enter the national team championship make international degree but of course my target mold in the national team for many years, as national athletes to achieve good success.

3. What are the problems about athletes today, for you?

If we take Taekwondo, there will not be big teams once, if there are big teams, there will be big sports complexes, you can train for hours in these sports complexes, and you can go back and test yourself. There are few places in this resort in Turkey, not in other places. I wish there was a facility in all of the big cities, a taekwondo team in the facility and training there.

4. Would you recommend Taekwondo to women?

I am a woman, too. I love taekwondo. All women can do it.

5. What do you recommend to those who want to choose this sport, and what kind of route should they follow?

I would recommend this sport to children at a young age, that is to say, to defend themselves, of course, can also do this branch, but I suggest to more children. We have an Olympic branch but this sport has no age, everyone can learn. If you want to do it professionally, I think the ages 7-8-9, that is to say the children can start the sport, which is not only a branch but also the child's personal development and mental development.

6. What are the difficult aspects of this sport for you?

Once there is a double struggle, there are more struggles than other branches than football, basketball, handball, tennis or other branches. Because there is an opponent in the face, and this is the hardest part if you are fighting this opponent. Of course, you are getting a blow, but the ones you get are the protections in the place of the blows, it does not burn your life very much and you are getting used to these booms in time.

7. How do you find the value given to sportsmen in our society?

There is no sport in society. There is only football in society.

Everybody in the world knows the world's population, except America, American football has priority in America. I think society is not very valued in society, so if this value is given, society will be aware of this value, society knows all sport branches, knows sportsmen too.

8. Do you have any other interests or hobbies besides sports?

I love watching movies. I read books again, but I love watching movies more. I travel in my free time. I love to listen to music again, I think my music is also good. I listen to music for hours in the day and I like music as part of my life ... If I need to eat, I need to listen to music so that all the athletes have this habit.

Something that motivates us is music.

9. Do you think that this is a period when sportsmen become icons with social media, how affects this situation your private life?

Social networks have good sides and bad sides. I think I use social networks nicely. I can see that bad users will have a decline in sports life, but I think I use social networks nicely.

10. What is your life philosophy?

Success and peace.

11. What is it that you think you will upset the most?

I am very much upset about what I love. Only my friends, I love them, and they can make mistakes.

INTERVIEW WITH AHMET ÇEVIK AHMET CEVIK: Most of us had childhood dreams of what we shall be. My aim was to be a pilot,but I feel myself so lucky as I prefered being an actor. It is fascinating to come together people who love you and give applause all the time.

And that is what makes me feel energetic and vivacious.

INTERVIEWER: Could you tell us a little bit about your profession with its pearls and pitfalls?

AHMET CEVIK: I can say that acting, especially being a comedian is really difficult as it requires to make people laugh and as you know it is so hard to draw people into theatre these days. However, We are trying to do our best to carry out our dreams and keep the theatre alive.

INTERVIEWER: It is very important to reflect exactly your role into the audience without being recherce. How do you manage to be so natural?

INTERVIEWER: Thank you for letting us interview you today. I know how busy you are.

AHMET CEVIK: You're welcome. It was a pleasure to meet you.

INTERVIEWER: Could you briefly tell us about yourself?

AHMET CEVIK: Sure. I was born in 1972 in İstanbul.

I finished my whole educatıonal life here. I sat for the conservatory but I wasn’t accepted. Then, in 1991,I met with Levent Kırca and Oya Basar. I came in first out of 380 people in the competition organized by them. That is how I got started in art life.

AHMET CEVIK: The first thing which Levent kırca and Oya basar taught me was to be natural. The second rule was to listen to the partner and the last one was to analyse the reactions of the audience. I suppose that I can do by help of them.

INTERVIEWER: What do you think about the importance of Theatre in Today’s modern Turkey?

AHMET CEVIK: We are having a very hard time. Theatre is in the same way.

INTERVIEWER: What are your forward projects?

INTERVIEWER: What was your first leading role?

AHMET CEVIK: I have my own theatre;Ahmet Çevik Theatre. We want to perform the same success which we had in theatre, on TV.

AHMET CEVIK: It took place years later after having been accompanied by Levent Kırca.I took part in the play named ‘Yasar ne yasar ne yasamaz’ as leading man.

INTERVIEWER: Great. What would you tell young people who have the dreams of acting?

INTERVIEWER: When compared with the other projects in which you have participated what do you want to say about ‘Olacak O Kadar’ ?

CEYHUN YILMAZ: Mmm ,let me think. It would be certainly ‘tragicomic ‘.

CEYHUN YILMAZ: Since the age of 5 ,I was a kid who managed to make people burst into laughs especially my mother,but she passed away on Mother’s Day. And it is just one of the millions of reasons. As you see, ıt is a tragicomic life.

INTERVIEWER:Do you have any projects whıch you want to do?

CEYHUN YILMAZ: That is the life itself. we are constantly trying to do somethıng. The rule of it is non-stop working. I dont know how much I can do but try to do my best.

INTERVIEWER: Thank you so much.

INTERVIEWER: Thank you for taking some time off from your busy schedule to answer a few questions about your life.

CEYHUN YILMAZ: It's my pleasure.

INTERVIEWER: we know that you began acting when you were a child. And We really wonder whether there was anyone who discovered your talent and tried to support you .

CEYHUN YILMAZ: In this kind of interview ,people like us should give tips to young people who have goals and lead them forth.It is so normal. However, I want to tell the truth not what you want to hear.We don’t live in such a world surrounded by people who are willing to support us. You can understand whether you really want somethıng or not when you are under the most difficult condition. Acting is not suitable for the ones who prefer to give up the struggle with difficulties. Thereby, I can’t say that I was supported by anyone. On the contrary,I met people who tried to restrain me from being successful. It was just my teacher having suggested that It would be great to deal wıth performing arts.

INTERVIEWER : Well, have you ever had a turning point in your life?

CEYHUN YILMAZ: Everybody has. One of the first and most important ones is that Mustafa karahan the owner of a great deal of production companies provided me with the opportunity of presenting the festivals of Gülhane park when I was 18. That day, I even more believed that everyhıng I have had since I was born was fabulously true. It was fascinating to see that my family was so proud of me.

INTERVIEWER: How do you spend your time off the job?

CEYHUN YILMAZ: This is not a job to be done but a job to be lived. We don’t work under bad conditions but the people who prefer this job need to know that they don’t have a chance to have private life.

INTERVIEWER: As far as I know, you are interested in art, literature, radio etc. How do you manage to be so successful in different fields?

CEYHUN YILMAZ: Though they look like different, they come to the same thing. I created a job including all of them. It is called ‘persuader’ as I believe that I am good at persuading

THEATER WAITING FOR YOUR APPLAUSE

Students: Hello, we are Azize and Hamdullah. We are studying at the prepatory school at Beykoz University Today, we are here for Beykoz University newspaper. We’ll interview with Muhammed ATALAY. He’s working as a young theater teacher at Tuzla Youth Education Center (TUZGEM). Thank you for not refusing my invitation for the interview. Can you introduce yourself ?

Muhammed ATALAY: Hello, thank you, I am Muhammed ATALAY. I am 30 years old, after graduating from high school I studied Public Administration at Eskişehir Anadolu University. Then I did not feel belonging to this profession.

Later they leaded me to the Theater Department and I studied acting in Nevşehir for a period. Now I am teaching acting at TUZGEM and know nice people like you and teach you something and I'm also learning something from my students.

Students: Thanks, I want to ask you my second question.

Why theater?

Muhammed ATALAY: Because I found myself and felt comfortable.

Students: How many plays did you direct or write?

Muhammed ATALAY: I do not remember the number plays I played. I started to direct as well as I was teaching.

I wrote about 10-15 plays.

Students: What is TUZGEM's place in the theater?

Muhammed ATALAY: It is more advantageous than many private theaters. It doesn’t have any problems like places, costumes, personel etc. They provide free education. Lastly we performed Lüküs Hayat. It costed us more than 20 thousand liras.

Students: What is your goal in your life?

Muhammed ATALAY: I don't really have a goal in my

life. I don't have a fixed goal, I have many goals, I am already doing it every year. I am carrying out my goal every year. My current goal is to produce more artistic and better quality games, because art is constantly refresing itself to offer new things.

Students: Well, what is the theater's impact on people in Turkey?

Muhamed ATALAY: The impact on people in Turkey is moving a little slow, theater spreads the culture of our people, they have to break down their prejudices. Perhaps the theater is the most living. The greatest reason for this may be our education system because there is no theater when there is a lesson of art branches such as painting and music. The lack of a theater narrows our point of view.

Students: Is there a play you want to act or want to direct?

Muhammed ATALAY: I wanted to act but I’ve already directed 'BİR ADAM YARATMAK' . I think it is a very magical piece, I was very impressed. I think that there are players who are better than me in terms of acting. Before that ‘LÜKÜS HAYAT’, but it has already come true. I would recommend you to read 'BİR ADAM YARATMAK' written

by Necip Fazıl, the most difficult play I ever acted.

Students: Which role do you enjoy most when you act so far?

Muhammed ATALAY: I do not act in the plays I usually direct. I acted the spiritual character in LÜKÜS HAYAT. I acted the most in the real sense. When we looked back we acted in many plays and enjoyed, but it was Ruhi that was the most enjoyable for me.

Students: Would you briefly mention the difficulties of actors?

Muhammed ATALAY: People who want to act should see the difficulties when they want to choose this field. Parents ask 'can you make money?', 'can you support home?’ etc…

Then there are few people who are interested in theater .When you say theater, they say 'are you making people laugh'. Not only those who perform theater, but people from every kind of art come across with these reactions. This is everywhere in the world but unfortunately more in our country. You're misunderstood. However it would be easier for us if we could get ahead of this dominant point of view.

We choose to perform art rather than tell because it is more memorable.

Students: Finally, do you have anything to say to the ones that will read this interview of Beykoz University?

Muhammed ATALAY: Absolutely! Enjoy art and artists in your area, and there are lots of free theaters today. Again, very good works are done at very reasonable prices in private theaters and most people do not go to the theater, so theater is waiting for you and your applause.

History of April Fools’ Day

In 1564, The King of France IX. Charles changed the calendar and made the first day of January as the first day of the year. But, because of the communication conditions of that time, some of the people did not know what was happening, and with the purpose of protesting, they continued their old traditions after they learned about it. The people who were protesting the decision of the king kept on organizing parties and giving presents to each other. The others who were aware about the new calendar and accepted it called those protestors “The Fools of the April 1st” and named that day as “The Day of All the Fools”. On this day they gave surprise gifts to others, invited parties that would not be held, and produced news that was not possible to be true. Over time, they continued to embellish, enrich and expand this tradition. It took nearly two centuries for this tradition of French origin to reach Britain.

From there it spread to America and the whole world.

Ancient History of Galata Tower Galata is known to be built in 528 by a Byzantine Emperor.

In the past, Galata Tower used to be a lighthouse tower. After that, the tower collapsed during the crusade by Latins. It was built again in a close area.

Galata Tower has witnessed different countries, different cultures. For example, the flight of Hezarfen Ahmet Çelebi was an important and interesting event in the past.

In Galata, there is blues and peace of a man and which comes from the past. You can feel longings with all your heart. If you understand Galata, you will witness the lively tower. The love of people come to Galata Tower for passion.

Finally, while walking around, if you want to have a rest. You can go to a nice Otantik Cafe. This Cafe reflects the soul of Galata Tower.

We have founded History Club; Join Us!

History wants to be known and gives lessons from the past.

These days history enlightens our ways. My friends and I are aware of this. Therefore, we found History Club in our school and we planned various activities. We have already made some activities. We conducted two conferences and we visited the most important museums of İstanbul.

Firstly, in order to conduct a conference, scenarist Hasan Erimez visited to our school. He talked about the differences between editing a book and real scenarios. That conference was very informative for us. In other words, he emphasized the differences between fact and fiction.

Another conference was called “Cepheye Giden Yol” by the writer Emir Kıvırcık. Emir Kıvırcık is the grandchild of Behiç Erkin, who was the comrade of ATATURK in the army. Emir Kıvırcık’s speech was efficent and interesting because he also emphasized the importance of logistics. So it was impressive and informative for every student at the conference hall.

The Biggest Nuclear Accident in the History

Chernobyl disaster, was lived during a test in 20th century. It is first biggest nuclear accident. This disaster on the exist of 26 April 1986 in the Ukrainian city of Kiev. As a result of this disaster to a large extent fission product spread to the atmosphere. People to be informed in 30 April 1986 The nuclear accident which the cause of Chernobyl disaster existed because of each reactor that have 1000 megawatt was mis designed. Because of disaster especially Chernobyl staff was affected a lot. Many people were exposed this gas and died. Also, the country which was affected from this disaster, the lands got inefficient.

With that, thyroid cancer became an important health problem.

Videographer Danny Cooke’s explanations about Chernobyl: Chernobyl is one of the most interesting and dangerous places I’ve been. The nuclear disaster, which happened in 1986 (the year after I was born), had an effect on so many people, including my family when we lived in Italy. I can’t imagine how terrifying it would have been for the hundreds of thousands of locals who evacuated. During my stay, I met so many amazing people, one of which was my guide Yevgeni, also known as a ‘Stalker’. We spent the week together exploring Chernobyl and the nearby abandoned city of Pripyat. There was something serene, yet highly disturbing about this place.

Time has stood still and there are memories of past happenings floating around us.

Developing Countries and Brain Mission

Brain migration is defined as the migration of highly trained, intelligent, skilled professionals to countries that are far better in terms of working conditions and earnings, depending on monetary constraints and poor working conditions. The concept of brain-migration is a sociology meaningful and has a metaphorical meaning.

The first to use the phrase '' Brain Migration '' was the British, who used it for scientists and engineers from India.

There is an expression; Bill Gates is the world's richest man, and the company he builds on his own is one of the world's most valuable companies today. Gates' catching of this success depends entirely on the young and resourceful programmers he has collected from different parts of the world.

Countries that receive brain migration are rich and developed countries, while brain drain and lost trained staff are developing or backward countries.

The reasons for brain migration vary according to the countries; it is shaped by the specific circumstances of each country.

The main reasons for brain drain are; - Unemployment - Trainees can not find suitable work, - The work is not appreciated, - Failure to conduct research, - Social problems, - The desire to achieve higher living standards, - Bad working conditions, low salary - Political problems (ethnic exclusion, political instability) - Corruption, insecurity - Go abroad for education and settle there The most basic reason for "brain drain" is due to the structure of the world economy. On the one hand, there are emerging economies with high-tech industrialized countries, on the other hand development initiatives that have dominated

agricultural production with capital shortages. In this dual structure of the world economy, it is an inevitable reality that attracting and pushing factors that push people to the desire will be found and forced to brain drain.

In developing countries, wage / salary disparities, supply / demand imbalance in the educated workforce, unplanned / unscheduled education system, low research opportunities, brain migration. The majority of foreign students studying in the US, France and Australia are also outside the OECD, which is also a significant proof of the influx of students from developing countries. In addition, in order for an country to benefit from brain drain, it must be capable of attracting foreign students with higher education The first wave of brain drain in the 1960s, Turkey began with the migration of doctors and engineers. According to the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Overseas Education (2007), the USA, France and England are watching Germany with 27 thousand students abroad. When in Turkey studying 16 thousand 656 foreign students versus the number of students studying outside Turkey, 44 thousand 204 state universities believed that an average of 21 thousand 955 students received training, it is emerging as Read 2 state university students abroad as well as present of.

The most important factor in the decision to stay abroad While abroad, students systematic and regular lifestyle, the most important reason for the decision not to return to Turkey of working abroad is an economic and political instability in Turkey.

What to do to prevent brain drain; - Every area should be developed.

- Scientists should be valued and appropriate environments should be established for them to take the consequences of their work.

- The country must be economically strong and prevent its scientists from going to other countries.

- The state must invest in educated people and it must be ensured that all kinds of support and tools are provided to the people of science and that the people of science should stay in their own countries and thus help them to develop their own countries.

-Research- development work should be given importance; research centers and techno-parks should be established.

-The development and development of the heritage in good shape only takes place through the work of scientists.

Therefore, the value of our qualified people who make scientific and scientific studies must be known and should not be allowed to lose these values.

What is Happening in the World?

The world hasn't been going through to good. The things that have happened in recent history and now are really sad, cruel and bad things.

Firstly, let's think about the Middle East and what is going on there. Innocent people are being killed by their own state and government yet no one says anything to this. They're not politician, soldier, just normal folk and the top of it, even the children are being killed.

Another subject is terrorism events all over the world.

Ordinary and innocent people are dying while just walking down the street and no one is being punished.

Also, the competition between the super power of world as USA, Russia and North Korea. While the children and people are dying in the whole Africa because of the scarcity, they just keep producing guns to make each other scared. The Africans try to find food to eat, Middle Easters try to find shelter to be saved and Swedish cry because of the death seals and penguins. American keep going on about being obesity and other keep going to death.

So many people are dying in present and everyone suffers. Europe and USA are acting like they're blind and deaf about that. Good things are hardly happening.

The world is getting worse day by day. I hope someone or something can fix this.

Cycling in Turkey The first cycling race was held in Thessaloniki in 1897, a year after the first modern Olympic Games held in Athens in 1896, during the Ottoman period. FROM DESERTED TO POPULARITY The cultural events and sense of entertainment can change in a half of century. Problems of past generations can be transformed as dreams of new generations. Eastern Express which has become famous recently can be example for this. The Eastern Express is an express train that completes 1310 kilometres in 25 hours. The train made its first journey in 1956. It has been existent for 56 years. The ones who watched ‘Sürü’ directed by Yılmaz Güney knows well what Eastern Express is. Tarık Akan (Şivan), Tuncel Kurtiz (Hamo), Melike Demirağ (Berivan) acted to emphasize the period’s economical and social issues over a family rancing in Kars. The film was shot in 1979 and the movie took part in Eastern Express. The family traveled from Kars to Ankara to sell the flock. Illness and theft incidents on the train tell the problems of that period. However, Eastern Express is the most popular travel route of domestic travel nowadays. It has been appealing vloggers, bloggers, photographers and students as train passangers. The train has been rediscovered. This interest is supplying the content for social media. Blogger passangers decorate their cabins with led lights and they share their cabin’s photographs on social media, so demand for this transport is increasing. What is Butterfly Effect?

A little information, a little philosophy.

‘When a butterfly flutters its wings in one part of the world, it can eventually cause a hurricane in another.’

Have you heard this before?

If you haven’t heard it, you know this name ‘Butterfly Effect’.

Maybe you watched the movies.

In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state Why butterfly?

The term, coined by Edward Lorenz, is derived from the metaphorical example of the details of a tornado (the exact time of formation, the exact path taken) being influenced by minor perturbations such as the flapping of the wings of a distant butterfly several weeks earlier. Lorenz discovered the effect when he observed that runs of his weather model with initial condition data that was rounded in a seemingly inconsequential manner would fail to reproduce the results of runs with the unrounded initial condition data. A very small change in initial conditions had created a significantly different outcome What is this phenomenon?

The computer model was based on 12 variables, representing things like temperature and wind speed, whose values could be depicted on graphs as lines rising and falling over time. On this day, Lorenz was repeating a simulation he’d run earlier—but he had rounded off one variable from .506127 to .506. To his surprise, that tiny alteration drastically transformed the whole pattern his program produced, over two months of simulated weather.

The unexpected result led Lorenz to a powerful insight about the way nature works: small changes can have large consequences.

CREAMY MUSHROOM SOUP Ingredients 125 gr mushroom (any kind), brushed and sliced thinly 3 tbsp butter 3 tbsp flour 4 cups of chicken stock and chicken bouillon 1 ½ -2 cups milk 1 tbsp salt to taste Fresh dill or black pepper

CHEESE LASAGNA Ingredients 12 pieces lasagna noodles 2 cups ricotta cheese 2 cups shredded cheddar/mozzarella cheese ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (optional) 4 cups spaghetti/Italian/tomato sauce 2 beaten eggs 1/3 cup hot water 1 tsp salt to taste Basil/thyme/black pepper (optional)

Preparation In a frying pan, melt 1 tbsp of butter and sauté mushrooms over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes. In a pot, melt 2 tbsp of butter and stir in flour. If the flour is not wet enough to be creamy, add some oil. Sauté till flour turns to a light golden-brown color.

And then, add chicken stock and chicken bouillon.

Stir well to dissolve flour in water. To obtain a smooth creamy soup, use a blender. Stir in mushrooms and salt.

When it starts boiling, stir in milk and simmer over low heat for about 15-20 minutes (stir occasionally).

Sprinkle some fresh dill or black pepper on top of Creamy Mushroom Soup and serve warm.

Preparation Preheat oven to 180 C. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add lasagna noodles and cook for 10-12 minutes or until al dente and drain.

In a bowl, combine egg, ricotta and other cheese and seasonings (optional). Spoon ½ cup of the sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Place a layer of 3 cooked noodles over the sauce, and spread one third of cheese mixture on top, cover with 3 noodles. Repeat layers of 1 ½ cup sauce, cheese mixture and noodles twice. Finish with the remaining sauce and cheese mixture. Pour 1/3 cup hot water.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove foil and bake for 20 minutes more. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
