The Tables Have Turned

When what was meant for evil turns out for your good! All through the bible, there are many examples of the tables turning. Joseph’s family threw him in the pit and sold him into slavery hoping it would kill him. All because of jealousy, thrown in jail over a lie by Pharoah's wife because he rejected her. And then people that use you or your gift, a word from you in their weak moments, get out of their situation and forget about you. Oh but when the tables turned those he helped and poured into could do nothing but remember him. Joseph was placed on the right hand of Pharoah over all the land, food, and government. Blessing him with a wife, new garments, a new look, and power. Power over all his enemies and Joseph handled them all in love. The turning of the tables! Esther, Mordecai, and Israel working together. Esther was chosen as the Queen to fill the vacant seat now open. To position her for such a time. Mordecai hated because he gave honor only to one God our heavenly Father. Not at all reverencing Haman, disobeying a law that was written by man. Causing Haman to be angry because he hearkened not. So much so that he planned to kill him and everyone like him serving the same God who has diverse laws from man. Because Mordecai always stood at the gate he was able to hear the plans of the enemy and save the king’s life.

With Esther in position, Mordecai’s ability to reach the queen enabled them to save the king and Israel from death. This is a team effort of coming together on one accord in fasting and praying. And Esther goes into the inner courts risking her life without being called. Haman is behind the scenes planning Mordecai's death while God is planning his honor and the turned tables for all of Israel. Giving half the kingdom to Esther, the ring, and Haman’s house to them. And the power to write new laws in their favor. More stories of God turning the table: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den. Trust God, and get into his presence with worship, fasting, and praying. And watch him turn the table right before you. Working everything out for your good. Keep going and be strengthened in your waiting. God is working on your behalf!

Run On To See What The End Is Going Be! 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 GNT 24. Surely you know that many runners take part in a race, but only one of them wins the prize. 25. Every athlete in training submits to strict discipline, in order to be crowned with a wreath that will not last; but we do it for one that will last forever. 26. That is why I run straight for the finish line; that is why I am like a boxer who does not waste his punches. 27. I harden my body with blows and bring it under complete control, to keep myself from being disqualified after having called others to the contest.

We are quickly approaching another year and we encourage everyone to stay in the race. You will not fail! With self-discipline, self-evaluation, no distractions, and a cando and will-do attitude. The story of Ruth and Naomi shows how a person who lost keeps going. Instead of returning to her father’s house, Ruth decided to cling to Naomi and go with her God instead of returning to the old. Obeying every instruction that Naomi gave Ruth from God. She gained a God-fearing husband and land that she served on and ate from. 10

Run On To See What The End Is Going Be! She chose to go where she had never been and do things that looked awkward. Sneaking into Boaz’s place and laying at his feet.

And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not Galatians 6:9

Follow the instructions that God is giving to you for your purpose and journey. Trusting the with all your heart clinging to his word.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6 : 10

Let us not be as Lot’s wife in the middle of the escape turn around and look back. Keep your eyes on the prize running forward to the finish line in faith.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Isaiah 43:18
